Yeah, this spreadsheet is fantastic and has a lot of great information in it. It's so much better than anything I could have done, at least without a ton of learning on the fly and probably screwing it up.

And I definitely want to apologize to everyone who had to deal with the first four gens under me. Especially seeing how much better Steiner was able to run it.

I think this is the worst that my favorite in a gen has done by a pretty large margin. I knew going in that was going to be the case since my favorites tend to be generally well liked while Boltund isn't, but I didn't expect Boltund to drop this early. These last three drops hurt.

Hey Steiner, it looks like the matched rankings and one off rankings in the User Stats sheets may have gotten messed up. Almost everyone has a number in the 60s or 70s.

This might be a dumb suggestion, but is it Bad Kids of Crestview Academy? It's the sequel to the one you mentioned, which would be why the plots seem so similar, and it opens with a girl in stadium bleachers being surrounded by police. So maybe?

I'm not in the crowd that thinks neighborhood fireworks are inherently bad/inconsiderate, but I'm kind of surprised at the number of people handwaving Ermine's post and generally saying "they'll just be scared for a night it's not a big deal." I can only assume that you've never had a dog that was truly scared of fireworks/thunder. They behave extremely erratically to try and find a way to get away from the noise. My sister worked at the vet clinic in our town, and after every fourth of July they always put up signs for owners of dogs that had gotten out during the fireworks, and a number of them were never found. It doesn't normally involve a train, but it's really not that rare of an occurrence like a previous post insinuated.

On a more personal anecdote, our family dog when I was growing up was terrified of thunder, and by extension was also terrified of fireworks. So whenever those holidays came around (or if we knew there were bad storms rolling through) we always had to crate her if we weren't around. I know that we had tried meds at least once, but they seemed to have little effect on her. When I was in high school, we weren't home and some particularly bad storms rolled through. She busted out of her crate, got into the laundry room (there was an issue with the door where it didn't latch all the way and could be forced open), and tried to force herself behind the clothes dryer. In the process of trying to force her way behind it, she knocked a bottle of bleach off of the dryer. She then chewed open the bleach bottle and drank some. I'm not sure how long it was after that when we got home, but we found her laying in a puddle of bleach. We had to take her to the emergency vet and she survived, but it precipitated a very rapid decline and we had to put her down less than a year later. I know it's thunder and not fireworks, but they had the same effect on her (I'm not sure that I've ever heard of a dog being afraid of one and not the other). It can be very difficult to keep a dog that's behaving like that under control.

So when you have a dog that's that scared of fireworks and acts like this when fireworks go off, and you have people in your neighborhood that set off fireworks for days on end (which is what the OP was saying... my current neighbors do the same thing, they were still setting them off last night) I hope you can at least understand where they're coming from and why so many dog owners have an issue with it.
