Same. I'm running my first 5k in a couple weeks.

I've been running 6 days a week for about 2 and half months now. I couldn't even run a 1/2 mile without being gassed when I started. Now I'm up to 3 and I feel like I could go for a couple more. Feels good.

I sliced my hand open and needed stitches. I went to the ER and my nurse was nice as can be, but the doctor was disrespectful. Prior to stitching my hand, he asked a bunch of questions off a sheet. Pretty standard stuff, but he asked several of them with this overtly derisive tone and look on his face. Just being a real asshole. Asked if I was on drugs, if I had any additional knife wounds, and if I had any gunshot wounds. I said Yes, but my insurance doesnt cover gunshot wounds so please just fix my hand. He cut the shit and stitched me up, but I was really displeased with his treatment.

I took my gf to the same ER, but had different staff tending to us. She was feeling very weak and ill. We didnt even get to see a doctor, just a nurse. Her nurse was very dismissive and ran some tests. Basically, she drug tested my gf and sent us home. We ended up going to a different ER an hour away where she was diagnosed with having dangerously low levels of some thing(s), I dont recall, that was causing her to pass out. They ran some tests and identified the problem right away. They were glad we came in and were shocked at the previous hospitals treatment of her.

One just went back to being open 24 hrs on Tuesday, and I expect others will soon follow suit.

I havent watched golf since Tiger was at his peak, so about 2009. Even then, I only watched the final round of the majors if he was in the lead or in the hunt.

how much was the fine for the window tint? so you had to prove you had it corrected?

It was roughly $125, somewhere around there. I couldve peeled off the tint and went to court with proof and have the judge throw out the ticket, but court fees would be about $100 anyways so I just paid the fine and kept the tint.

Ive received four speeding tickets, but one was successfully contested. I also received a ticket for a window tint violation. So, five tickets total and two warnings.

Take the community college route and sign up for student employment. I know a couple guys, 40 yr old non-traditional students, who did on-campus custodial or facilities work in between and after their classes. They supported themselves for two school years until they graduated.

Not directly, but close. Last week I recommended that the CFO of a college (I'm on the board of trustees) be terminated. She was wildly incompetent and had to go, so I made the case for her termination. The President, who is friends with the CFO and is incompetent herself, initially resisted but ultimately did exactly as I recommended.
