Emoji is Japanese term created from combining "picture" with "character". It's a perfectly sensible term... in Japanese. I have no idea why English picked it up when there was already a preexisting term.

SP actually isn't that big a factor. It's just that every point counts where you start getting near 4830 or so and easier sources of boosting your score have been exhausted.

Higher SP skill give more points (ignore the 1.5x multiplier from inherited skills). So skills like Aether and Galeforce are worth a lot since they are 500 SP skills. Sacred Seals matter as well.

Even after Microsoft dealt with most of the initial problems, they still didn't really have anything to win people back. They had weak exclusives and slightly worse performance across the board on multiplatform titles. Being about close to equal doesn't really give people reason to come back once they have left.

It is possible for two Pokemon with compatible egg groups to not breed in GSC. It happens when both parents have the same Defense IV and either the same Special IV or the Special IVs are exactly 8 apart. Try talking to the Pokemon outside. If it says "It's brimming with energy." that means they won't produce any eggs.

You are supposed to break his shield by reflecting his lasers with your shield. I had long since forgotten this was possible when I first fought Ganon. Alternatively, using Daruk's Protection to reflect the lasers works as well.

I was pretty close to spent on resources by the time I got to Ganon's final form since it took me forever to figure out how to break his shield. So at that point, I was okay with the battle not being particularly challenging.

It's due to how the character generation system works. The listed rates in the game are across all orbs but the game gives you hints regarding the colour of a unit behind an orb. Using conditional probability, it can be determined what the rarity rates are on a per colour basis.

Since there are fewer green 5*, 4* and 3* units than the other colours, when a green focus unit exists you are more likely to get a green focus unit when sniping green orbs than the the other colours when sniping the corresponding orbs.

Also I wasn't being 100% serious when I said Greens are easy mode. Your odds are slightly better at getting the focus unit you want compared to Blue or Colourless but it's not a massive difference.

When I first did the Master Sword quest, I thought it was going to be 12 hearts as a reference to Zelda 1 where you needed 12 hearts to get the Magical Sword. I was a bit disappointed that it turned out to be 13 instead.

You are close to having enough hearts. I think it was around this time that the Deku Tree started giving hints to me about the Horned Goddess Statue but I'm not exactly what triggers it.

He was actually doing the exact opposite. His focus was to help Lightning and company reach Orphan so they could destroy Orphan. Cid went against his focus and tried to stop Lightning's party instead.

I think you probably would've gotten more takers later on. Right now people are still able to save their main priorities and they're comfortable with the risk of letting lesser priorities go. Like, I'm pretty sure there's been less than ten NRs total this whole contest so far. They start getting thrown out like candy later and I bet quite a few people would've jumped on your trade deals.

That might be true. I guess there's nothing stopping me from starting over with another character to find out. I'm not really sure who, though. I want a character who at least has a small chance to make Top 10 but it can't be a character like Lightning or Ariana who is a bit too likely to last to the Top 10.

I don't think it really would have worked out in the end anyways. It was far more challenging to find people to trade with than I expected and seemed to get worse over time. Even though there was only a small chance they would have to pay up (I wasn't even close to being able to cash in), people seemed to prefer watching a character they support get eliminated then make a trade.

You should be about to throw them a fair distance from yourself. I'm not sure what button it is to make the targeting circle go farther away from you on the Switch but it should say on screen when you are holding something.

That's correct. It doesn't go up until you finish a summoning session. Unless you have gone something like 40-50 characters without a 5* so that your 5* rate is 5.00%-5.50% or more, it's not really a great idea to pull on non-focus colour orbs. You probably need to go 120 without a 5* to make it worth pulling on a non-focus colourless orb.

It takes 4 minutes to refill 1 circle of O Power. O Power regen is based off real world time and still regenerates when the game is off.

I sort of wonder what they plan to do with dagger users in the future. So far they have only add 2 new dagger users since the launch of the game. One of them was a summer banner exclusive and the other had a dagger that could not be inherited.

I nearly destroyed all my weapons trying to do that trial where you have to stasis the ball and hit it into a hole far into the distance. It was the bonus one for an extra chest, at least.

I ended up reloading my save a lot for that one. I would bust up the weapons they gave me in the shrine trying to complete it then reload until I got it right.

You can use Wonder Trade if you feel like it. Getting garbage Pokemon out of Wonder Trade is the general expectation and you won't get really good Pokemon worth trading out until after you beat the game.
