Okay so you realize that lying about rape totally shits on all the people you care about who have gone through assault and it is very hard to do that if you're not a total loner and/or sociopath

So next time you edgelords scream about how easy it is to lie about rape, can you put an asterisk note saying it only applies to loner sociopaths who have nothing to lose?

It's still
Incredibly easy to do on FB. Where you don't really have anything to lose. Report it to cops, then we'll talk.

Like Lawrence for instance...

Everyone is saying how brave she was and how that took such courage...

SHE WAITED A DECADE!!!
Waited for others to snipe first
And didn't do it to cops or court (things that really do take courage).

There was no courage there. Is it commendable, probably, neautral if nothing else. But getting patted on the back by everyone, not putting it to court, and not having to relive it isn't exactly brave... What part is bravery, courage in the face of what exactly?

There is still courage there. This might sound unbelievable to you, but there are some people out there that have no empathy towards other people and are actually criticizing her for the way she came out about this! Saying she didn't do it right, with the sort of implication that she is either making it up to be trendy or is at fault for not reacting the way they think she should have reacted.

I know it is shocking, but certain people are criticizing her or mocking her experience, and it takes courage to say something when you know people out there are going to come after you because they don't think you handled one of the worst moments of your life right.

I do not believe sexual harassment doesn't exist
I do not believe sexual harassment isn't a problem

BUT
I do believe propaganda exists
And I do believe people love to be attention whores

Now before you ask, "DO YOU REALLY THINK PEOPLE WILL SAY THEY GOT RAPED JUST FOR ATTENTION?!?!"
Well, if you don't specify anything, no time, no place, no description, yes - it's extremely easy to do
Here-
I got raped
I got raped
I got raped
I got raped
I got raped
I got raped

See how simple that was?
I got raped hahaha lmao
See?

So easy that you literally recanted before you even posted it!

You can't even post it seriously here, where literally no one knows you or who you are.

Prove to foolmo how easy it is by posting it on your Facebook, without the whole "lol just kidding I wasn't raped this is hilarious" thing attached to it. If it is as simple as you say it is, you should have no problem doing it.

Man, how weird is it that Rex Tillerson is in the second tier of Trumps cabinet in terms of "thank goodness this person is there and not someone crazy".

I mean he's not Mattis or Kelly, but at least he's an adult and not actively undermining America on the global stage. He at least understands diplomacy and might be halfway decent at it if Trump wasn't undermining him every time he got the urge to send a tweet.

I mean, he has experience being the CEO of one of the largest companies in the world

I don't think it necessarily qualifies him to be Secretary of State but he's not an idiot when it comes to global affairs

Well yeah, but being a diplomat and being a business man are two very different things, even though there may be some aspects that overlap.

He clearly understands the global community in a way Trump does not, even though Trump was also a businessman.

I mean the US wasn't really *the* global super power until WWII, and even after that we were in competition with Russia.

China will likely overtake us in 20 years or so, but there was a long period of America history where being an American meant very little. There were slaves, women couldn't vote, there was significantly less social mobility, and workers had almost no rights.

I am disappointed with the current administration and Trump is somehow worse than I thought he'd be. But your statement was fairly hyperbolic, imho. 1980s until now is the best period of American history, far and away.

If they force the players to stand, I will actually stop watching football.

I would not if this move was taken of the owners own volition. Like if they had initially decided last year to stop this, fine, they are the owners and can take measures necessary. I would disagree with their move but still watch. But this is clearly only in response to pressure put forth by the sitting president of the United States, in a move that comes dangerously close to literal government censorship.

Honestly, seems like a play to shift the blame of the deal (one way or the other) to congress so Trump doesn't have to be held responsible for anything.

Although that might be giving too much cognitive credit. It's probably just more dismantling of anything Obama-related.

This is the impression I got too. He isn't outright scrapping so much as kicking to congress and telling them to look at it.

So regardless of what happens he can just shrug his shoulders and go "don't blame me I asked Congress to do something about it".

Number two was Trump. Clinton was like fifth.

I remember this because I kept trying to figure out what series of answers he could've put in to get those results. Because I had Sanders at like 91% and Clinton at 87%, so there wasn't that much difference between the two of them.

No.

Players who have claims on them don't go into FA at that time. If you stayed up to when the switch happens, you'd see a bunch of players still "on waivers". These are the ones that have pending claims on them and you can't pick them up.

All players with no claims on them exit to FA at that time.

Players go off waivers right at midnight pacific time. You can pick up anyone who wasn't claimed at that time. For some reason yahoo puts those players in FA right then but then processes the claims some time later.

It's like that in every league with waivers. Dunno why!

forgive me for taking a guy from the_donald seriously for a moment, but it's laughable how backwards this is. liberals are the ones who acknowledge that many people are crappy (personally i'd say "most") and we should make sure that some of the good people are in the government so that the world doesn't turn to shit. the people who have such blind faith in the goodness of people in general and think that "everything will be totally fine without government!" are libertarians/anarchists.

also, interesting that reagan is apparently not as popular as JFK and carter on the the_donald. trump himself was primarily giving reagan lavish praise during the campaign.

I wouldn't say that. I think Reagan is still the most popular out of all the recent presidents there. I just didn't post those topics because I feel like most people would just assume he's popular on a sub like that.

Top comments are:

Carter's a good person. Shitty president, yes, but he's a good man.

Jimmy Carter is a genuinely good guy. He will never understand why the liberal politics he supported can't work, simply because his faith in the goodness of people is so solid. He couldn't stand the unseemly parts of dealing with the people who inhabit the upper levels of power. He isn't pragmatic, he is driven by his faith.

Jimmy was the guy Washington, the country, needed in 1976. After years of Johnson, Nixon, and the endless controversy that surrounded the office of President of the United States Carter was an absolute relief to the insanity. His failures to understand and compromise with the evils of the world caused his presidency to become an absolute disaster. In World of Warcraft terms, he was a Holy Priest not a Paladin.

Regan was also a good guy, but more connected to a the world and the country was in a deadly serious economic crisis. He was like a ret pally compared to Carter.

I have met Jimmy Carter several times. He is very generous with his time and I believe it's his mission to meet everyone in Georgia. What's more, he remembered my name when we met the second time.

Jimmy Carter is everything you have ever heard about him. And in my opinion is the most moral and decent human being to ever hold that office.

There are tons of examples of stuff like that, but I didn't feel like going back too far to pick it out. There is a huge chunk there that thinks JFK was the last man to stand up to the CIA and the globalists and got killed for it. Jimmy Carter they think was a feckless leader, but a supremely good person that was just being mislead (I do think it is kind of cool that Carter is such a humanitarian that even the dregs of the internet look at him and are like "nah, he's cool").

And there are the weird fringe democrats that are there that upvote stuff like that not because they necessary agree in the conspiracy, but because they want to "go back to a time to the REAL Democratic Party" which was essentially before "THOSE DARN SJWS TOOK OVER" so they love Carter and JFK.

Something else I've noticed recently is Obama is starting to get a minor following there >_> There are still plenty of people that are outwardly racist and say horrible things about him and Michelle, but then you have stuff like this:

Because Obama is actually a good politician and a decent man even while I disagree with him?
Obama wasn't cackling like a witch after watching Ghaddfi's body being brutalized

117 upvotes on a front page topic. That's like the fifth highest upvoted comment and it is "Obama is a decent man". Why? Because like Carter and JFK you have the crazy conspiracy theorists that think "he was a puppet who was threatened" (that "he didn't want to end up like JFK" comment up there? That was also about Obama) and the fringe weird democrats that were fine with Obama but really, really hated feminism.

Again, this is only a fraction of the whole sub, and there are plenty of racists crawling around as well. But at least some people there like JFK, Carter, or Obama (in that order, with a huge gap between Carter and Obama). Almost no one there likes Bush.

It is a profoundly strange place brimming with hatred and paranoia, so some of what you would expect out of a standard Republican simply doesn't apply there.

Like, as something very weird I have noticed there, I would venture a guess and say Jimmy Carter and JFK both have a higher approval rating on that subreddit than George W. Bush does.

Why?

Short answer: they're paranoid conspiracy theorists and crazy.

Long answer: Well, it is important to remember these guys aren't Republicans. I mean, obviously most of Trump's support is Republican and a lot of those are only supporting him sort of grudgingly because they either just hate Democrats or are fervently opposed to abortion. His online base, particularly the ones on Reddit aren't really Republicans. A lot of them don't hold traditional Republican views at all. It's why Kasich came out the other day and said something about how he might have to leave the party.

Also, I'm not joking. They are literal paranoid conspiracy theorists and crazy. These guys are frightening to me because there is no logic you can use to talk to them because their reality is different than our reality. Now, there are some fairly "normal" people that post there that just really hate SJWs (think ExTha when he was peak anti-feminist) that mostly are just there to shit post and TRIGGER LIBS LULZ. But there is a non-insignificant portion that are basically the craziest part of America that honestly believe their is a global cabal turning THE FREAKING FROGS GAY.

So I'd say you have maybe 25% of the sub that is bonkers crazy "VACCINES ARE A GUBMINT PLOT TO GIVE YOU THE BRAIN DAMAGE", 10% is this super weird splinter of "I was a democrat/apolitical at one point but I hate SJWs" and there are very few traditional conservatives on the board as a whole, as those guys have other subs they go to where paint eating isn't a recreational activity.

Because of that there is almost no George W. Bush support. At best he is a traitor that didn't support THE GOD EMPEROR and he's a loser cuck.

AND Jimmy Carter/JFK are like crazy people's two favorite presidents. Not that either of them were bad, just that they both feed into their narrative almost perfectly. Have you seen Vlado posts where he basically gets lost in an RPG where we need to fight against the globalists and their secret program to turn everyone into a one world government where people that have individual thoughts gets fed to George Soros? About a quarter of the board is that. And they believe, more than anything, that JFK and Carter were the last two presidents before Trump to fight the globalists.

The government killed JFK is a frequently espoused theory there. And Carter was not a global elite like Bush, just some guy that got bamboozled by the globalists and taken advantage of.

Here are some comments from a post TODAY on on of Obama's tweets:

Jimmy Carter is a very good man.
He serves at his church as a Sunday School teacher and dedicates his life to Habitat for Humanity. He was definitely a pawn when he was president.

The CIA had him by the balls since day 1. He never stood a chance. He was scared of ending up like JFK. Can't say I blame him. Trump is actually standing up to them with balls of steel.

Like, as something very weird I have noticed there, I would venture a guess and say Jimmy Carter and JFK both have a higher approval rating on that subreddit than George W. Bush does.

Sure, but I feel like feminists would make that Top 5.

Oh, yeah, for sure.

I would probably group what they refer to as "SJWs" all together though. I'm not certain they make much of a distinction between them. Unlike muslims and people who are transgender, you will very rarely see someone there say something mildly positive about liberals/SJWs so I wouldn't put them at the very top.

I'd be shocked if they weren't #2 or 3.

Women who dare to have opinions? Unacceptable.

They definitely aren't number 2. Muslims and transgender people are far and away disproportionately overrepresented in their hatred.

This is like the worst game of family feud ever. There is a lot of hatred on that sub to go around.

I don't even know what their second most "hated" group is.

Trans women probably.

Or even just women in general.

Oh, yep, duh, this is an easy number 2.

Hatred of transgender individuals is another thing they are in 100% agreement on. Muslims is still far, far worse because that is more of a pure blind seething hatred, and this is more of a mocking disdain.

Women in general aren't even in the top 5 I don't think. There's plenty of women the hive mind there likes and respects. I've yet to see anything remotely positive about anyone that is muslim or transgender there.

If there is one unifying ideology that ties r/the_donald together it is that they really, really, really hate Muslims. It's grotesque what gets upvoted there.

I don't even know what their second most "hated" group is. But it isn't even close.

Even if she said "yes," you can't consent when you're forced into a subordinate state to officials.

By admitting to it, the "best" case scenario here is she "agreed" after they pressured her in exchanged for dropped charges. That's rape regardless of the exact specifics.

The most shocking thing on that is the Trump hat she's wearing in some of the photos.

I never thought Bush's reaction towards Katrina could be outdone but here we are

How are you all, politics containment topic people? It's been a while.

Bush always struck me as unprepared and incompetent rather than downright malicious when it came to Katrina. I never thought he was outwardly racist and he always seemed to embrace other cultures in his own clumsy way. For example, he did more for poverty in Africa specifically than any other president.

This is something different and grotesque.

I think the Steelers might actually be kind of bad.

Although, at home the Bears would've beat the Falcons if any one of three different players make a catch on the last drive and they beat the Steelers.

On the road they got absolutely demolished by Tampa and Green Bay. Probably just a coincidence.
