The main addicting part of the MH games is crafting armor sets from the monsters you kill and becoming more powerful to take on stronger monsters. If you find yourself getting one shot by something, that's a sign you need to go farm an armor set of your choice, and if that concept doesn't appeal to you, then I'm afraid to say the game isn't for you.

the hunter armor or w/e it's called, the one i made from hunting great jagrases. im using level 2 or 3 weapons, regular steel or iron or w/e.

so far there is no intuitive way to know what's good against what or how to prep, which is annoying

Try crafting a water weapon. The anjanath is weak to water

It's not scripted, but they definitely set stuff up.
Like when Mur's tooth implant falls out. They're not good actors, so it's easy to tell when it's bullshit. Most of the time it's real.

If it was the one I'm thinking, the 'hidden camera' moved around way too much to be real.

On the behind the scenes episodes they usually explain how they had so many cameras moving around with no one knowing it's a tv show. For example, during the one where they set off Sal's phone during the book reading they told the audience it was being filmed for promotional purposes

By far my favorite part of the show....well almost. My favorite is....similar to that a little later in the tournament. I'll leave it at that.

Honestly that whole first round was great. The end of Kurama's fight was another great moment.

It's sad to see that people are willing to spend so much money on such shitty games.

Just because its one-dimensional Gary Stu of a protagonist was in Brawl. ("I fight for my friends." is the full extent of Ike's characterization. Really.) The worst Wii game. (Which is really saying something when Wii was also home to Radiant Dawn and Other M.)

We didn't buy the game when it was new causing it to be a commercial failure for a reason.

I think Cell saga is the only one I caught in full and then it was just bits and pieces of the other ones.

I just binged Yu Yu Hakusho for the first time and it made me want to do the same with the Dragonball shows, but that's just too much and there's so much better stuff out there
