Yeah I think I got a lucky RNG role in that final fight. I remember a big special attack insta-gibbing me 3 times in a row, then on my 4th try, it missed me? Or it far less damage because I made a small change. I can't remember.

I literally screamed when I beat him though. Made me so happy.

Gog, when you say physically, I think it's being assumed you're talking about infections, or having a headache, vs mentally, which would be depression and anxiety.

I've done similar things in your position. One thing that actually helped me after I calmed down even slightly was start to clean up, despite my constant anger and depression I had at the time. If you can't do anything else, force yourself to start cleaning up just a little bit. If you don't go to the ER, then at some point, you're going to have to make a change, a small change, on your own, in what is happening in this very moment.

Your levels do. Doesn't mean enemies adhere to the same rules, lol. For those you essentially need to stack up on agility-boosting gems otherwise you can't hit them at all.

Edit: You don't need to worry about that for the main story. None of the story bosses go over 99.

This. Level cap is 99, but some optional bosses go up higher than that.

That one appears to be missing the 1995 version according to the steam page, but honestly, I'd recommend Steam anyway. If those versions actually require DOS to play, Steam automically sets all that up for you. I'm not sure if GOG does, but in the off chance it doesn't, setting up DosBox can be slightly irritating.

They're mostly the same game with some subtle combat differences (well, and story differences)

I highly recommend you play the first one though, as it's also amazing, and plays a small role in the 2nd game's story.

Churches aren't just about worshipping a god. They are places where friends gather and support each other, and spend time together. Depending on the church, there are fantastic support groups and rehab groups. The charity is there and it can be a good thing.
