The first movie definitely just drops you in to the world. The next one makes much more of an attempt to bring you up to speed on who people are and what's going on.

I thought Jiren's backstory worked BECAUSE it mirrors Goku's dragonball story. I thought it made total sense.

When you look back at other tournament antagonists, Jiren has more backstory than Tien or even Piccolo Jr.

It's weird. In most ways, these contacts are the same, clarity-wise, as my glasses. But some things, like reading smaller text on screens seems a little harder to do. Not sure if that's usual or if these trial contacts are not quite the same prescription or what.

It's pretty weird. I thought it would be harder putting them in for the first time (especially since eye stuff in movies and shows creeps me out), but it didn't take long at all. Everything is clear, which is a weird feeling without glasses. My laptop screen feels kinda bright now, don't know what that's about.

Of course, but like the free ammo for the bowguns I assume the free coating is Bad, and that somehow I'm supposed to better utilize the power coating. I just wish I didn't have to worry about this consumable stuff because the bow was fun otherwise.

I tried out the Bow. It performed really well on my first Rathalos fight, I was pretty impressed. I don't like managing ammo or coatings though. Like I had power coating, but I ran out of it like a couple minutes into the fight. I know you have infinite of the close range coating, but I'm sure that's a bad coating you don't want to actually use like the HBG's free ammo. But it seems like it would be a real hassle since you can't carry that much coating.
