I was a fan of Zestiria's story, but I feel like the two games have the same shortfalls, namely the battle systems, gearing and story all all very meh. The thing is as of right now, I think Zestiria's story is better... and that's saying something. Most of these characters are either common anime tropes, or have the depth of cardboard. The "highlight" of the story so far was Eizen's interactions with Zavied and the one glimpse of Edna we see in a scene.I just do not like this world, nor its characters.
