today at work I was reading NFL prediction articles from September and before and they are all hilariously awful. I know it's impossible to predict and I wouldn't have done better, but still. Like one guy said the Giants and Raiders will go 12-4, the Rams will be 2-14, and cleveland will make the playoffs

I watched that whole video, and here's a disclaimer: I pay 0 attention to upcoming videogames/consoles. I still love video games and play them often, but if there's a game that seems interesting that's already out, I get it. I just personally don't really focus on the E3 type stuff.

I watched that video, and am I losing my fucking mind? what the hell is that? It's like the typical Nintendo over-intuitive demo videos we've been seeing since Wii, except on speedballs. This video makes me feel old. This video seems like it should be a Google April Fools joke, or something from The Onion.

My friend's (who I was sitting with) brother and wife are also at the game, but sitting in a different section. They left when the saints kicked that last field goal. I know that game was over 9999/10000 times, but still... You would have to feel pretty silly after doing that

I paid $205 for a nosebleed seat with my friends who were also at the "Blair Walsh missed the kick game." The familiar feeling of the Vikings are going to lose again set in, which is fine. It's not the end of the world. I once again contemplated what the heck I'm doing with my life, and why the heck do I invest so much time, money, and energy into this sad team. Having fun watching sports is a perfectly good thing to do, but this is just too much man. I was sitting there in the 4th quarter and I made a resolution to deactivate my twitter and facebook accounts for a few weeks and sort of be a hermit and read a few books. The Vikings ended up winning in the most epic thing I've ever seen in my life, but I still think it's a good sentiment to deactivate and become a hermit for a while

Nobody cares, but Grey Ducks update:
We were down 4-0 with 9 minutes left in the third period. One of our Dmen got a penalty. So we proceeded to score 2 shorthanded goals in 30 seconds. 4-2. In the last 3 minutes, we got another. 4-3. With 3.3 seconds left, we scored to tie it and send it to OT. we ended up tying.
Huge win from being down 4-0

Man, Nintendo must not like having to eat the cost of Joycon repairs. I called and said I wanted to get my Joycon repaired and then they started taking me through all the obvious troubleshooting steps. Yes, I've updated my Switch from the first system version in the last ten months, thanks for asking. Eventually I got impatient and said I know this is a known hardware issue, and we got moving along.

I suppose some of that is just typical customer service type stuff. I hate how they have to ask you the most obvious questions. Why is it like that, do people really call customer service immediately without making a single troubleshooting attempt on their own? Every customer service call I've ever made is like 10% actually working on the problem because of this model.

I called and went though those same steps for a hardware issue on my switch. And of course it started working perfectly while on the call while they were trying to get me to recreate the error. It worked for a day and now it's worse than ever so I'll have to call in again.

They probably go through all those steps with ever call because people are idiots and 90% of the issues can be solved by quick troubleshooting stuff like restarting or updating

After 2009 I took a step back from Vikings fandom and re-evaluated myself. Watching sports is something I do for fun, so it should be fun regardless of the outcome. I think I've done a pretty good job of being that kind of fan since then. That being said, I'm fucking terrified of any playoff Vikings game. They are going lose.
