15. Beat a puzzle game

I can't tell whether I'm happy to get through it, sad to not have found and finished every puzzle, or upset that I gave up a few times for some unneeded answers. A truly remarkable and frustrating game with an ending that's equally remarkable and frustrating. All those freaking puzzles. I'm glad to have it banged out, but I kind of want to play again. Gah.

Epiphany Note: I noticed multiple times the line puzzles in the scenery, from atop the mountain overlooking the brown trees to looking through the green tinted window in the lab, but I only sketched them down thinking they were answers to something in the future. It wasn't until I was trying to open up all the doors in the town's tower that I noticed paths on the underside if I lined them up correctly with perspective. And when I accidentally clicked ont he circle and saw it burn, my mind was blown. I could have easily finished up two or three days ago if I suddenly didn't need to run around the island half-solving obelisk puzzles.

Honestly, the thing about Sakutaro being a mass-made toy never entered my head the first time I read, and I didnt get what Ange saw in that one scene that supposedly had a bunch of sakutaros.

Definitely not what happened, but just randomly wondered...

What if they weren't mass produced yet? What if in the years between the Rokkenjima incident and Ange's journey back, Rosa's design caught on posthumously (not unlike Van Gogh's works became revered past his time)? What if, like Ange's custody or the Rokkenjima letters, the Sakutarou design gained notoriety and popularity due to the fate of the Ushiromiya clan and became marketed by either Eva or Asumu or someone in order to profit?

Though it's far more likely that Yasu never knew the lion wasn't unique because she doesn't get out much, what if at the time it truly was unique and the boat captain merely had a giant surplus of the dolls because of the souvenir status they hold on anyone who goes looking for Rokkenjima memorabilia?

That would give Rosa a bit more of a credit (than she and her much more likely lazy and lying ass deserve), but... it would make a lot of sense why the captain would have a large surplus of that one particular stuffed animal.

Maybe... maybe Rosa really did make it... O_o
