Probably shouldn't say this like it's factual, since it was a critical and commercial success, especially the World without Superman and Return.

Probably the most brilliant mind in science fiction ever. However, his writing style was always very, very dry. I think I have to be in the right mood to read him nowadays. Still, Foundation is a fundamental science fiction narrative, the groundwork for so much in modern sci fi. I wish we could get a Foundation TV series on HBO.

I mean you could argue that there were atrocities in every non-white territory that left long, painful scars on a variety of countries that were founded in the 20th century, but let's just focus on the part where prim and proper wealthy white folk enjoy midday meals and discuss minor gossip in veiled undertones. That's what Britain always was about.

Also, if you let trailers be the only thing that decided your viewing habits, you wouldn't have watched Batman Begins (terrible trailer), Star Wars (probably one of the worst trailers I've ever seen), the Matrix, American Psycho, Cabin in the Woods, How to Train Your Dragon, any Tarantino movie...

Can we all be honest and say that commercials absolutely do not sell comedy shows in general? There has never been a comedy that has had funny commercials.

For instance, AP Bio is absolutely hilarious and I'd recommend people watch that. The commercials are hacked so badly it looks so unfunny though.

Tend to agree. The best comedies can't be sold in 30 second packages.

Not a fan. His dialogue is poorly written and the character seems incapable of learning or reasoning. He's very much a static character placed into dynamic situations. Ultimately, if I am to compare Tidus to the great titans of literature - the characters of a Hemingway or a Dickens, I find him lacking.
