hey do you guys have an amazon hub in your area? amazon hires part time for 20 hours a week at like $14 an hour. it's not "amazing" but after 90 days for some of the call center amazon prime or customer service jobs you can work from home. and it's like 20 hours a week and is flexible.

that's almost $1200 a month which isn't fantastic but could be an offset during her pregnancy.

Good idea, Im not sure. Will look. Thats decent money

It's just one of those board games we happened to have. It's been so long since I played it, I don't remember anything about how to play it other than it involved those little card-like pieces. I'd completely forgotten about it until I saw one at a flea market a couple years ago. It looks like the company Winning Moves re-released it in 2016 reverting to the "disco" motif of the original version that we had.

You move along a board and place like go forward or go back x amount of spaces. And you score points. They have those as well

No. A Goofy Movie is a prime example of a point I've been trying to make for years. When a cartoon has a good song or two in it, people severely overrate it because of how pumped the song makes them.

Sweet Victory is Spongebobs most critically acclaimed moment. What's Opera Doc? I Remember You & What Was Missing? There's a dozen examples. Tevin Campbell sounded wonderful and it makes you throw your fist in the air and cry out that this was the best movie for you. Chill.

No I think the movie just has good scenes, is well made, is extremely underrated

This girl that got hired at my work was two months pregnant, told nobody till after her 90 days and got health insurance. She picked the most expensive one and then worked her ass until a week before her due date, paid basically nothing for having the baby and got paid time off. Came back and dropped the health insurance to the regular one

My sister is a hairstylist.
The most important thing she can do is to keep a log of customer information so that when she leaves she has a client following.

My sister's district manager once told her off the record to keep a little box of index card sized forms for new customers to fill out with their client information, but have them always fill out 2 cards. One card goes in your box and the other is given to the salon for their records.
This way, if you're ever terminated or decide to leave you have a following.

The bottom line is for her to make sure she takes her client information with her to a new job.

The other important thing to do is every so often, ask a friend or family member for permission to work on cutting, coloring or styling their hair and taking pictures in order to slowly put together a portfolio to take to job interviews or to post pictures on social media in case she decides to take on freelance work on the side.
I'm assuming she has her license so it shouldn't be too hard to get a new job.

yeah definitely. i'm not a hairdresser but i know a few and i think she'd have an easier time with the pregnancy and time off at an independent salon as opposed to a corporate chain like supercuts or something. i know those places are more strict about your business hours.

my hairdresser works in her own room at this complex that houses a ton of different rooms with different independent beauty/spa type things. maybe she could try to find a place like that

no, you don't have to disclose that. it's not a disability. it's not like when you're a hairstylist you can't set your own schedule in independent salons. i don't think the owner will care if you are out as long as you're paying your booth fees. if she's only a month she has a decent amount of time before she starts showing and then when she is showing she can disclose it.

i can't see why she couldn't get another booth as long as she pays her rent while she's out.

Shes just over a month by Im not sure if she has to disclose if shes pregnant when she is interviewing for a new job. We also have a 4 and an almost 2 year old so it makes this hard.

I very much like board games. I'm trying to slowly corrupt my wife with nerdiness using them. We just finished Pandemic Legacy: Season 1 with our friends, and I can't recommend that highly enough. Other favorites of ours are Lords of Waterdeep, 7 Wonders, Covert, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle, and DC Deck Building Game.

I bought the Kickstarter for the base game and expansion of a game called Expedition and that's finally about to ship soon. It's like a DnD lite where your phone acts as the DM and the dice. It should be a good way to introduce my wife to roleplaying games and bring her closer to nerdiness. My ultimate goal is to one day play a real session of DnD or another true roleplaying game with her. Other men have their fantasies about what they want their wives to do. I have mine.

We did Risk Legacy. We have Pandemic Legacy as well but havent done that yet. Risk Legacy was like 15 games lol. I liked the Alien race when it came out

Ticket to Ride is also good, but I don't enjoy it enough to play it tons
