Publicity stunts or not, people are still benefiting and Trump started it.

Not really. The insurance industry was getting pretty pissed at Trump flip flopping, making bad promises, constantly threatening to up end the industry, etc. They already went through layoffs and restructures. They are finally seeing a break from all of it now that Trump shut the fuck up and can resume paying employees.

That's a great theory and all, but the CEO said this:

"We are extremely grateful for all that they do on behalf of our more than 40 million consumers as well as the care providers and communities we serve. This new program is an opportunity for us to thank our associates and also ensure that they benefit from the recent changes to the U.S. tax code. It is our hope that, by contributing to our associates 401(k) plans, we are able to offer a program that will help them and their families now and in the future"

I use credit cards for everything. I mostly pay the full balance each month, but even for larger purchases that could take me a few months to fully pay off, the interest isn't that bad for just a few months.

It becomes an issue for people when they use it beyond their means and won't have the money to pay it off in a few months. Then they're paying interest every month indefinitely until the card is payed off, which could take 5+ years if they're only making the minimum payment. Do that with 2 or 3 cards and it becomes a big problem.

He's great at fooling people like TC who doesn't actually care about and he'd gladly throw under the bus if the tide turned.

He's not fooling me. I like his policies and the promises he's kept. And I like his speeches and tweets. As long as he continues to do what I like, I have no complaints.

"When asked about whether he was lying in bed with his phone thinking of how to wind people up, Trump said: Well, perhaps sometimes in bed, perhaps sometimes at breakfast or lunch or whatever, but generally speaking during the early morning, or during the evening I can do whatever, but I am very busy during the day, very long hours. I am busy.

I will sometimes just dictate out something really quickly and give it to one of my people to put it on, he said.

Asked about eating burgers and drinking Coke, Trump, 71, said: I eat fine food, really from some of the finest chefs in the world, I eat healthy food, I also have some of that food on occasion... I think I eat actually quite well.

Trump said that he was very popular in the United Kingdom. Some British politicians have called for Trump not to visit and 1.86 million people have signed a petition asking for him to be banned from entering the United Kingdom.

I get so much fan mail from people in your country - they love my sense of security, they love what I am saying about many different things, Trump said."

Here's an example of German doctors and surgeons not prescribing powerful sedatives:

"I brought up the subject of painkillers with my gynecologist weeks before my surgery. She said that I would be given ibuprofen. Is that it? I asked. Thats what I take if I have a headache. The removal of an organ certainly deserves more.

Thats all you will need, she said, with the body confidence that comes from a lifetime of skiing in crisp, Alpine air.

I decided to pursue the topic with the surgeon.

He said the same thing. He was sure that the removal of my uterus would not require narcotics afterward. I didnt want him to think I was a drug addict, but I wanted a prescription for something that would knock me out for the first few nights, and maybe half the day.

With mounting panic, I decided to speak to the anesthesiologist, my last resort.

This time, I used a different tactic. I told him how appalled I had been when my teenager was given 30 Vicodin pills after she had her wisdom teeth removed in the United States. I am not looking for that, I said, but I am concerned about pain management. I wont be able to sleep. I know I can have ibuprofen, but can I have two or three pills with codeine for the first few nights? Let me remind you that I am getting an entire organ removed.

The anesthesiologist explained that during surgery and recovery I would be given strong painkillers, but once I got home the pain would not require narcotics. To paraphrase him, he said: Pain is a part of life. We cannot eliminate it nor do we want to. The pain will guide you. You will know when to rest more; you will know when you are healing. If I give you Vicodin, you will no longer feel the pain, yes, but you will no longer know what your body is telling you. You might overexert yourself because you are no longer feeling the pain signals. All you need is rest. And please be careful with ibuprofen. Its not good for your kidneys. Only take it if you must. Your body will heal itself with rest.

Meanwhile, Trump is also taking less out of people's paychecks and the child tax credit has been doubled, saving some families with multiple children thousands each year (not including bonuses or money saved from paychecks).

Why does it seem some people who oppose the tax cuts and bonuses feel they should alternatively be given nothing (under Obama and would-be-Hillary) just because large companies aren't giving every employee a $50,000 check?

Pushing aside what constitutes as "crumbs", as all employers are different in size and contribute differently to their employees-----

I'd rather be getting "crumbs" than nothing if Hillary were president. Employers are giving out bonuses and Trump is taking less out of people's paychecks. Tax paying families will save $1,000 per child under Trump. Those who don't earn enough to pay taxes will also receive a check per child.

Let me know what Hillary would have done. Let me know what Obama did, because there's many poor, disadvantaged families that are going to be saving $5,000+ under Trump.

The close up, side photo Fin Dawg posted is evidence he does have hair in the back. Trump has very fine, thin hair---as do many people. In extreme winds such as these, it could appear from fair away they were "bald".

If you're a person with fine hair, do an experiment yourself. Get a blowdryer and blow in a specific spot. It will appear you're bald in that spot.

Does Trump have some hair loss? Probably. He's 71. But it clearly appears he has hair in the back.

Sure, why not? He clearly enjoyed their principles---just wanted to take it to another level. What would you consider him to be, then? Are "Nazis" just a regular group like BLM? What is extreme and why does this man killing 5 officers not count as an example?

Ah, I thought you were trying to use him as an example of BLM extremist.

I'm just pointing out that you can't conflate "Nazis" with average Trump supporters. Do they support Trump or like at least like Trump? Probably. But I'm sure the cop killer was also happy Obama won in 2008.

It'd be the same thing as me saying Liberal Democrats burned down multiple cities and rioted because 90% of black people associate themselves as Democrats.

But rioting had nothing to do with party affiliation and at least some of the Nazi murders have been due to their association with the right and Trump.

The riots had to do with perceived or actual injustices just as the bad things "Nazis" did were due to perceived or actual injustices. Both were extreme and bad. You can't say one associates with Trump and their bad actions were the cause of that. Because I guarantee those rioters were associated with Obama in 2008.
