Have her stay in disguise until the sail barge battle and have Luke "get caught" unfreezing Han. Maybe skip the rancor battle too? The initial sequence with the droids arriving could also be tightened up I'm sure. On Endor I don't think you need to cut the Ewoks entirely, just the whole getting captured bit, and the part where Leia befriends Wicket. Like you see him ambush her and then you don't see her again until everyone gets caught in the net, when she shows up immediately and makes the Ewoks free them without the cooking/flying C-3PO scene. Or you could cut them and focus on Han actually leading the strike team. Make it more like the end of Rogue One, but without so much of a down ending. Episode 2 only had the asteroid field chase between Obi-Wan and Jango which was not a proper space battle but honestly may actually be the best space combat in the PT? Episode 3 had a similar problem to Episode 1 where there was a cool battle but we were just focused on the Jedi who were just flying in a straight line basically. --- SuperNiceDog didn't have to reconcile his name... I've long said that if there was a fan edit of Episode II that basically cut every scene without Obi Wan in it I bet it would be a half decent movie. There's a lot more cringe/snooze Padme/Anakin stuff than Obi Wan stuff in it though. The IMAX cut of Episode 2 was kind of like this. Back then IMAX had a hard 2 hour limit so they had to trim like 23 minutes from the film, and most of it was the Anakin/Padme stuff. They only left in the bare minimum to move the story along. Outside of Sonic Mania, it seems like every platformer revival has taken the view away from the characters I'm controlling in favor of, "OOH LOOK AT OUR PRETTY BACKDROP!" It's harder to see both player characters and enemies, I can't get a grasp of things on screen as well, and I just feel games just look "slower" in comparison. Maybe seeing death pits coming is nice...but that's the only positive. Well the budget 3D models and low res textures they use for most of these kinds of games would look really bad up close. --- SuperNiceDog didn't have to reconcile his name...
