My uncle got burned really, really bad by this. One of those things you expect to happen to someone else.

He was in IT-- and he's a classy dude. Very polite, professional, and corrected his boss on something in private, not in front of anyone, about something IT related and presented an alternative solution as an idea.

His boss basically hired a sneaky slut to come in and say she got a new dress in front of him and asked if he thought it looked nice. He nodded and kinda implied like "sure, yeah, whatever" and after 25 yrs of working for them, he was accused of sexual harassment and promptly fired.

I trust him. He has a wife he's crazy about, 2 girls in college, and although his religion isn't my thing, Catholic. I have no reason to believe he wasn't being truthful when he told us what happened. Class act, nothing less. He got burned.

It could. No one really knows yet. It depends on how ISPs design their algorithms. If they design it based on detecting VPN encryption, I imagine you could be throttled for everything you visit. If they stick to throttling individual websites-- it's possible VPNs can work around ISP bullshit. Totally possible.

Permanent crowns do look more similar to your actual teeth but youll still likely be able to tell it's a fake tooth. The difference is pretty negligible and unless it's a front tooth it's doubtful anyone would ever know.

I rarely give up on people. There's truth and light in everyone.

I voted for the option for good people being outnumbered by dumb fucks, but understanding upbringing has helped me have patience for many certain people. Lots of people were denied the chance to learn that there's good in the world, weren't taught how to be smart because no one went out of their way for them, etc...

The people who know better and put themselves before others and fight over stupid shit are the scum of the Earth. I dislike being around them. The negativity and hate really drains my energy.

Went to the dentist for a regular check up/cleanup and a sore tooth, blahblahblah-- I find out I have:

- A fractured tooth
- A cavity
- 4 wisdom teeth that haven't surfaced yet and need to be removed because they're angled weird under the gum

Byebye perfect teeth. 25 yrs old in under a month and ahh shit, 3 hours later, this temporary crown looks like a dome.

I brush regularly and floss properly like 3-4x a week, had no idea it was this bad.

But yeah, will I be able to tell I have a crown at all? It's the same color as the rest of my teeth, thankfully.

It is messed up. It should be online only. My girlfriend had to work tonight and gets out at 3am and then goes back in at 11am on Black Friday? C'mon. This is family time man.

It makes more sense to me, honestly. Wouldn't they theoretically make the same sales at zero risk management of people killing each other, avoid spending more money on security, and making employees happy?

My wife was sneakily trying to get me a PS4 this weekend but thankfully I caught her (already happy with my PC, Switch, and 3DS; really didn't want one but appreciated the gesture) and said if she was planning on spending that money anyway on something we don't need, let's get her a Coach purse-- now a place like that, I can kind of understand might be preferable to go in and feel/touch versus online shopping. We were coming in anyway for family, and there was talk of when we would meet up. We were told the weekend BEFORE that they were already having it Sunday. We knew beforehand that we wouldn't be having Thanksgiving like a big meal.

Before last weekend, we had no idea she'd do this. I derailed my own topic cause it was originally about Black Friday and probably deserve the ridicule for this. Lol

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver is a pretty informative show.

Personally can't stand him. All he does is spew out leftist bullshit. I'm a liberal libertarian myself, but the guy's voice feels like total propaganda. His face lights up like a Christmas tree when the laughtrack audience (please laugh) giggles at his jokes. Really bums me out that people have to work on a holiday intended for family time just so people can buy stupid materialistic shit. I chose my wording carefully-- I'm cool with optional shifts if people get paid more. That's a bit different.

I'm guessing my sister-in-law is gonna pull this stunt today. We traveled 400+ miles across states to have our annual Thanksgiving with them, and apparently "they had their Thanksgiving last Sunday because they didn't know we were coming in."

We visit every year... maybe my wife will give her the benefit of the doubt with it, but I'm not. Pretty bullshit excuse considering she never bothered to ask us. So now we traveled 400 miles and we get frozen dinners because nowhere is open. She's as fake as they come.
