I'm sorry.. but human beings have survived as a species for hundreds of thousands of years without electricity. To think that 90% of Americans will die because of lack of electricity seems a bit too far fetched.

In the 1800s, everyone in the U.S. did just fine with anything from cooking to traveling. Id appreciate if some of you here would stop acting like you're totally helpless or whatever.

Even from the early days to the 1400s to the 1800s everyone did just fine without electricity, etc

Darksaber, do you even know what a scooter is actually? Have you even had a plain old scooter when you were a kid? It's the same as a skateboard only with a long stick attached to the board which the long stick has handlebars

Okay, go into town and buy a carriage. Do it right now. Find a single person who has the supplies and tools to make a carriage wheel with no power. Buy a Horse, now have enough for a town anywhere in America. Get fuel for the scooter, replace innertubes for bikes, maintain the roads for skateboards and skates so you don't just biff it and die from an infection.

Stop being intentionally obtuse. Humanity can survive without power, but our societies have not been equipped to lose it for 100 years. You think gardening is easy, you make a light snack or a 200 calorie addition to a meal twice a week for a month or two. Stagger a farm so that the harvest can feed a family of four for the year, with grain enough to weather the winter months. There is a reason our great-great grandparents had 10+ kids, survival rate and farm-hands.
