Nobody. I don't believe in the ignore feature.

In fact, this is the case with anything. I don't ignore people on any service unless they're a spam bot. Or, rather, I might just not respond to them but not use the ignore feature. The only exception was when I was 12 or 13 and some pedophile kept sending me sexually explicit messages I wasn't interested in, but that was before I was even on GameFAQs.

Responding to your original question, I'm probably guilty of what you're talking about (usually "where are you from?" early into the conversation) but I never thought it was rude or anything assuming they can also ask me questions about where I'm from. For whatever reason when I'm travelling I find it really interesting keeping a mental note of the demographics of people I come across etc. E.g. When I visited Australia two months ago something like 40% of people I came across in hostels were German! In comparison I'm a New Zealander and met only 4 other New Zealanders during my time there. That amazes me. It's also interesting learning about the similarities and differences across languages and cultures, not in a stereotyping or malicious way.

That's not rude because you're asking it in a bit of a different context. When you're traveling and talking to other travelers, I can't see many people being bothered by asking where they're from. You're also asking where the person is from, not their ancestry. That never bothers me, I'll happily say I'm from the US (assuming I'm out of the country) or California (if I'm in the US), or near LA (if I'm in California).

The problem is when I'm home or when people don't accept a response of the US/California/LA for where I'm from, prodding into my ancestry. My favorite is when they reject those answers and pester me to say something else, then when I ask them what they are (as they're now fair game after bugging me) they just say "I'm American" and I'm supposed to just accept it.

I usually just say "American". Then the conversation goes like this:
Person: "No, but like, where are you FROM?"
Me: "California."
Person: "I mean like, what nationality?"
Me: "My birth certificate and passport say that my nationality is American."
Person: "Okay, where are your parents from?"
Me: "Los Angeles."
Person: "No no, like WHERE are they from?"
Me: "[LA neighborhood] and [LA neighborhood]"
Person: "Your grandparents, where are they from?"
Me: "The United States."
Person: "Are you Mexican, Guatemalan, El Salvadorean, Cuban, or what?"
Me: "No. I am American as is my entire known family."

Person gets frustrated with me at this point. I then either start listing off national origins I think they're asking about, starting with American (which Ancestry.com has confirmed with many more) or just ignore them.

I've even done this with the US Census Bureau. If you say you're Hispanic, they want to know what country. I always say United States.

Now that I've done Ancestry.com's DNA test, I can now start listing off a dozen different origins, mostly from Europe, in hopes that people will finally leave me the hell alone.

Whoever said about your team losing is right, at least that's one of the good reasons.

LA had no team until last year so everyone thought that LA would love the Rams even if they were losing. When they started losing, fans stopped watching and paying $100 to go to a game. Why? Nobody likes to see their team lose frequently. People will watch other sports or shows or maybe do something else.

That said, LA fans are very fickle in general and are also the type to call for firings if a team loses too much.

Wii U is dead but yet IIRC not that much cheaper than the Switch.

SNES Classic is a great system and I love it, but it's not something I'd consider to be comparable to other systems since you only have what's included with no way to get anything else legitimately.

Also, allow me to explain this one.

USC's mascot is the Trojans because of an article in a newspaper that said that USC kept fighting on in a game like the Trojans kept fighting in Troy, never giving up until it's over. So although the Trojans eventually lost the war, they didn't give up until the bitter end. It's that spirit that makes some schools choose Trojans for a mascot.

That said, I've always thought it was an odd choice, even though I graduated from USC and I'm even wearing a shirt that says "TROJAN FOR LIFE" right now. But that's the reasoning for it.

I have a backup camera and due to the guidelines it gives me, it's actually easier to squeeze in when it's a tight space.

Though the real reason why it's better is due to reducing wear on the car. You're going to have to reverse anyway. Might as well do it when your car is warm instead of cold because you reduce the wear on the engine and transmission.

Also in the event of an emergency, you can just drive off without needing to reverse out of your parking spot.
