Self driving car, easily. Machines are more trustworthy than people.

:'(

I do enjoy the anime ex'Driver, about skilled drivers saving people from rogue self-driving cars.

Current Mazda beater car, I bought for $800

My fun car, Supra, bought for $1200, have spent another $3000 on it for a total of $4200 or so.

My Celica Turbo, $2400 plus another $3000 or so for a total of $5400. I guess that's the most I've spent on a car in 54 years of car ownership.

Well, rented rather than owned, but a great gadget. Borrowed laserdiscs from the public library.

Roger Ebert! Movie critic? Isn"t watching movies an equal waste of tine when you could actually be out doing things instead of just watching?

Or I might say that video games are an active pursuit, while watching movies is just passive.

No idea what "vidja" is, but assuming it's babytalk for "video":

I built a simple analog waveform matching game for oscilloscope display in 1961.

Outside of spars when I did martial arts, I've never been in a fight.

This. Just sparring, but a fair number of tournament wins.

Actually, he was charged, tried, and acquitted.

Shame on the media for sensationalizing it and provoking a riot.

Or in the interior, rather than on the coast?
