Die Hard 4 is a good action movie, but not much of a Die Hard movie. Feels more like something like San Andreas with The Rock than Die Hard.

2 is fun, 3 is excellent, 5 is horribad.

What about some other post-Die Hard movies? Under Siege and Speed are amazing.

I'd probably be disappointed in 7 had the PT not existed (thus, with it being the first OT sequel). Instead, the PT buried my expectations so badly that I was thrilled with 7 being a movie with at least a comprehensible plot and decent acting/dialogue.

Ani's a good scapegoat, but no, the movie is boring and terrible all around with wooden performances, bland characters, and a story that's all about tax plans and bureaucracy.

The biggest problem I've had with 7 is that it's just a renamed Empire with a renamed Super Death Star, but the rest of the movie works well for me. I didn't mind the Death Star in Return of the Jedi. The rebels are pushing back and they learn that the Empire is trying again without the flaw so they have to go now before it's an unstoppable threat. The space battles alone are amazing and the three paths coalesce into a really grand finish.

It's definitely weakest of the the OT, with a middle portion that is very much forgettable and some of the worst "new edition" edits, but I'd still rate it a better movie than all of the PT and maybe VII. They both have their flaws and the successes.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Lived up to the hype for the most part.

It's interesting because my first thought was the original SSB and how cool both the art and commerical was and it was the first game where I had to get it in the first week. Then I remembered reading Nintendo Power and the massive jump in quality Gamecube was getting and one of the first games on it would be Melee and getting super-hyped for that.

But nothing beats over a year of following the Dojo and that Snake trailer.

Ugh, the Red Web. That was the hardest time I remember having with my playthrough topic. I think it went a solid page or three of just confound mentioned over what was being told to me, and I don't think I even realized Kinzo was dead until next episode. I was so focused on figuring the riddle of Nanjo's death, that I only NOW realize everyone was trying to just help me solve the 17 person thing and only that, and I didn't or couldn't think outside the context of the immediate murders. Bah.

Haven't read higurashi in a while. Still on episode two. I'm just too easily distracted at home by shinier more active gaming. Plus, I feel like I need to start episode two over because I've loaded three or four times back to where I left, and it's the awesome game club saves shion from perverts scene... and then it's 'holy **** who the **** I'd this girl we were crushing on and how much does she hate her sibling, what the ****ING ****?!" and I'm too stunned every time to continue.

- I need to see Hideyoshi with a giant 70s fro (and comparison pic to Gabe Kaplan) along with basketall gear. He'd be an excellent globetrotter in spirit!

- Hehe. Natsuhi's headache. This is the game she's in on right? Of course knowing shkanon, she would be caught off guard counting.

- Also, when they died instantly, it's not just the 'six' being a trick with Shkanon. She proclaims they died instantly without specifying when. It's very likely the servants are alive at that point in the game, but we're led to believe they are dead right now. Even thinking more on it, both Kanon snd Shannon died rather instantly--both their 'deaths' were tied to the final moments of George and Jessica more than most other episodes. And, since the servants were sleeping, they would likely have died without any struggle. Instant. Ooh, I love how bea bends the red!

Was there ever any throwaway line about where Kinzos room was located with regards to its exterior location? I remember at the beginning of games, Kinzos throwing his ring out the window, and then again in Episode 5 when the Kinzos room scenario ends with Battler leaping out to prove how Kinzos escaped. . I never really considered how Kinzos would always end up in the boiler room when in red I believe there are statements where Kinzos was in that bad last night or something. But if...

If Kinzo's window is above or near the boiler room's outside entrance, throwing his body out the window in the morning and dragging it into the boiler room is much easier to get away with than pulling him through the mansion.
