How's the new Pokemon game based initial impressions Tom?

I never really directly answered this! Jury's still out on some of the changes and stuff, but I like it about as much as any other Pokemon so far. Would like to be seeing some more new Pokemon, but at least we're getting old faves instead. Graphics are cute, but look pretty terrible when they zoom in on anything. Seems like a lot of hand holding, even for Pokemon.

Strike Man and Burst Man have challenged Damus and Vanille to a fight! Location of the fight: Impact Crater - The source of Tallon IV's phazon corruption surrounding a deceased Leviathan. All doors are open, whilst enemies will not spawn. Watch your step - phazon is lethal to the touch. Bubbles appear throughout the terrain at random, which will carry mercs up a short distance, and Burst Man's music will be playing throughout the terrain.

Strike Man is as seen in Mega Man 10. He is not limited to using his boss patterns exclusively.

Dark Samus is as she appears in her boss fight in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, although she cannot turn invincible, turn incorporeal or heal off of phazon. She has been hit in the head with a 157 MPH fastball. She will be trapped in an indestructible bubble and will be unable to take damage for the first 10 seconds of battle. She will have a torpedo explosion centered on their location 20 seconds into the match, but is not aware of this.

Vanille is as seen in the postgame of Final Fantasy XIII, equipped with Nirvana-Belladonna Wand, Tetradic Crown, Ribbon, Magus's Bracelet, and Magistral Crest, all at max level. She has fully mastered the Ravager, Medic, and Saboteur sections of the Crystarium, and may freely switch between the roles. She may not cast Raise, Death, nor use any Techniques.

Scrubs: Urg, JD/Elliot is now a thing. I figured it would be eventually but was enjoying it not being. Sure are beating us over the head with it though! ...But then it fizzled! Man I have watched so many episodes I can't even process them to update

FFT: The grind continues.

Pokemon: Team Skull is pretty funny, and Ilima's Smeargle was tougher than I expected. We're on to Route 2 now, and already having to make tough cuts on my team. Current lineup is Kong the Litten, Harambe the Slowpoke, Blake the Meowth, Tidus the Pichu, Mr. Presiden the Yoonguss, and Yang the Makuhita, in rough order of how likely they are to stick around. I've heard rumors that Igglybuff is coming up soon, and I definitely want that and Mimikyuu. Alolan Exeggutor amuses me as well, so we'll see.

Civ: Oh hey Greece declared "surprise" war again, but they wussed out after just a minor loss or two. I'm not as far ahead as last time but I think I'll be okay? We'll see.

Pokemon Moon: aww yiss! After more cutscene than a dang MGS game, I acquire KONG the LITTEN and set forth. I've already gotten a Ledyba, Yoonguss, and Pikipek just from running around Route 1. I saw a Caterpie too, but killed it. I don't know if I'll keep any of these guys around or not- we'll see!

Civ: New game, with Cleopatra this time. I'm being more aggressive in the early game than I'm used to this time- I'm up to four cities in the Renaissance Era, and considering a fifth. I usually don't go more than two or three all game! I'm barely hanging on to the score lead, and appear to be about on pace in science. Very quiet game so far, which is nice. I've only met Victoria and Greece, and Victoria is nice and Greece too far away to worry about. Not even a city state yet! Lots of barbarians, though.

Scrubs 1-4- My Old Lady: This is a bit more emotionally intense than I was expecting! ....Hallelujah coming in doesn't help either, considering the timing. I was expecting to lose the cool old lady but not all three of 'em, dang!

#FE: Nothing interesting to report, but I'm making further progress through Gravure Land, and picked up a couple more Unities.

Nova and Vercetti have challenged Mantis and Bandicoot to a fight! Location of the fight: Commander's Room. The site of the battle with Psycho Mantis in Metal Gear Solid, complete with lots of random furniture to throw at opponents. Access to the rest of Shadow Moses is denied.


Nova is as she appears in Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty and Heroes of the Storm, with her cloak behaving as it does in the latter. She only has the talents Advanced Cloaking, Rewind and Snipe, and use of the Heroic Ability, Precision Strike. She cannot use Domination.

Tommy Vercetti is as seen in Grand Theft Auto:Vice City, bringing with him a Flamethrower, a Colt .45 pistol, an Uzi, a SPAS-12 Shotgun, an RC Baron with 4 Bombs, and 4 Molotov Cocktails.

Psycho Mantis is as seen in Metal Gear Solid. He has full use of his psychokinesis and telepathy, levitation, and his optic camouflage. He will not necessarily be able to dodge every attack just because he can read his opponent's minds, cannot mind control his opponents, and cannot break the fourth wall or use his BLACKOUT attack in the battle.

Crash Bandicoot is as seen in the various Crash incarnations. He has access to all his regular abilities except his Wumpa Fruit Bazooka. The enemy team will prioritize taking him out first.

Civ VI: ....Got sucked in for a few hours, and Kongo sneaked past me to swipe the Science victory. Man, I thought I was dominating, and still lost on the win condition I was focusing! I also knew my second step thing was gonna be built, so when the game over movie came up I was expecting the launch cinematic >_> Anyway, I learned that spies are important, and can remember a bit about district placement for next time.

FFT: Getting frustrated with encounters. Agrias is like the only person who can take more than one hit, despite her still being a bit underlevelled. That'd be okay if Revive had any vertical range, or Raise ever hit, or if Phoenix Down gave more than 10 HP. Or if I wasn't fighting Monks, I guess.

DR3 Future 6- No Man is an Island: Hey, Hagakure's prediction rate is up to 30% now! It was 20 before, right? Also man, we're down to 10 people already! WELL ****. ...I feel like this is a fake death, but I don't have a real re- oh good. Archer noooooo. Something's out with Scout man but I can't put my finger on it. So let's see, who's left? Munakata, Boxer, Naegi, Asahina, Kirigiri, Candy, robot, Scout, and Ryota? Hm. At any rate I am still very curious about Junko Jr. I don't see much motive for her to be helping, but I also don't get why she'd need to trap them when she can just keep killing. I also feel like the big bad shouldn't be revealed before the halfway point, so...maybe she's trapped somehow as well? TOGAMI APPEARS. ...Why have I already forgotten other-Naegi's name? I just read that dang LP. Hyped for her and Fukawa to bust some heads though!

Added GPI, Honeybee Prof, and Hearts Boxcars, then swiped Mituna, fedorafreak, Latula, and Cronus from free agency to round out the rosters and staff. Bit of touching up to do on details, but after that I guess it's time to hit Homestuck itself, although I really hope I don't get myself spoiled this close to the end of the thing. >_>
