WCW Starrcade '91- BATTLEBOWL: Sting/Luger gotta be the final, right? Maybe Vader or Steiner. ...It's a double elim battle royal, which I didn't know! Wrestlers have to be thrown over the top into the second ring, and then thrown over the top out of that one. Cameras miss a ton, wrestlers seem confused on what they're doing...it's a magnificent train wreck. Sting does indeed BEAT THE ODDS and take out Luger to win! Match was as goofy and fun as the whole PPV. I love WCW.

#FE: Took out the camera thing. Also got a Melmark for no real reason because I didn't realize the Coarse Mane quest was repeatable. Guess that's good to know if I wanna farm them, though!

Mystery viewpoint: This is how I try to look at things but eesh I'm bad at it. The Sonozakis seem the most obvious culprits, but something seems off with that. Irie also has had a lot of involvement with things, and seems like he could be up to stuff. I still say Ooishi is an okay guy.

Fantasy viewpoint: I'm guessing Rika has gone through this scenario repeatedly. Miya also seems very important.

"I've read Umineko" viewpoint: I am anticipating another fantasy/mystery ambiguity like the end of Umineko. I don't expect "was Rika threatening or warning" to be answered. I think the repeating loop thing was specifically brought up in relation to Bern, too. Would that make Miya Lambda? Hm.

Fox, Dragonborn, Big Boss, and Mantis have challenged Raiden, Seymour, The Boss, Soma, and Ocelot to a fight! Location of the fight: Mt. Gagazet. A steady snow falls upon the site of the battle with Seymour Flux in Final Fantasy X. It stands as the final test of resolve on the summoner's pilgrimage before reaching Zanarkand, and is filled with winding paths and treacherous cliffs.

Fox McCloud is as he appears in the Star Fox series, piloting the fully upgraded Landmaster in all-range mode as seen in Star Fox 64 in from the nearest convenient location to his team. He has one bomb. He may leave the cockpit but will only have his Blaster from Star Fox: Assault if he does so. Fox believes that this battle isn't actually a battle but rather a hypothetical on a message board. He will not communicate this to their team, and will be immune to mind reading, but comes into battle with full knowledge of the capabilities of both teams and the terrain and will plan and act in the manner best suited to win the battle, even if it's not in character.

The Last Dragonborn is as he appears in The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, as a Breton with all Warrior and Thief perks, but only non-DLC Destruction, Restoration, and Alteration spells and perks (except Paralysis spells), and access to all unenchanted Dragon-smithed equipment. He has all non-DLC Dragon Shouts except Animal Allegiance, Call Dragon, Call of Valor, Dismay, and Kyne's Peace all fully upgraded.

Big Boss is as he appears in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in his Battle Dress and Helmet. He has an AM-MRS-4 assault rifle, Kabarga-83 shotgun, HAIL-MGR-4 grenade launcher, AM-MRS-73 sniper rifle, LPG-61 machine gun, PB Shield, CGM-25 rocket launcher, Geist P3 pistol, a full complement of throwing and placed weaponry, and Hand of Jehuty, all fully upgraded. Additionally, he has D-Dog with him.

D.Dog is as seen in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain with the Sneaking (Knife) uniform.

Psycho Mantis is as seen in Metal Gear Solid. He has full use of his psychokinesis and telepathy, levitation, and his optic camouflage. He will not necessarily be able to dodge every attack just because he can read his opponent's minds, cannot mind control his opponents, and cannot break the fourth wall or use his BLACKOUT attack in the battle. He will arrive to battle 60 seconds late.

Raiden is as he appears in Mortal Kombat X, with access to all of his fighting styles, moves, and powers.

Seymour Flux has all of his skills displayed in FFX, except for Lance of Atrophy. He is accompanied by Mortiorchis, who will not die until Seymour dies and cannot use Full-Life. He does not have Total Annihilation.

The Boss is as seen in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. She is armed with her Patriot machine gun with infinite ammo.

Soma is as he appears at the end of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, with all Bullet (Red) Souls and Ability (Silver) Souls available from that game at max level except for Zephyr, Paranoia, and Balore, but any summons created will expire quickly as in the game. He is equipped with the Claimh Solais, Death's Scythe, the Silver Gun and Dracula's Tunic. He additionally has the souls of Corvo, O/S, Meta, and Shulk, allowing him to use Windblast I, Gungner, Mach Tornado, and Monado Buster, though stronger attacks will require more MP. He is proficient in all of Raiden's skills.

Ocelot is as he appears by the end of Metal Gear Solid 3, armed with two Single Action Army revolvers.

Fox takes Landmaster as a prebattle. Mantis shows Fox B8. I don’t think anything else is worth proccing The Boss when it can be saved for a potential rubber match instead.

Welcome to the TOMPIC! In this, I will liveblog various things that I'm watching and reading and playing and doing. Dark Silvergun posts some too! There will be SPOILERS for anything I'm doing, although hopefully you can avoid reading updates for stuff you want to avoid spoilers on, and I try to tag some of the biggest reveals anyway. The poll will officially run until November 1 AND The first update to this topic AND I finish s6 of MLP, but feel free to vote late in an attempt to influence future decisions!

Stuff currently covered in this topic (arranged loosely by how much longer I'll be working on them, and including what's next afterwards):

Powerpuff Girls: A bit into the second season. Good times, but not as amazing as I'd expected. About to be taken off Netflix though, and I'm okay with that. Will be replaced by a show that isn't an anime. Maybe one of the ones above!

MLP: Just got the two-parter left, and then it's hiatus time. This was a good season I think! Will not be replaced, but will be added back into the rotation when we get season 7.

Higurashi Ep4: It appears we are skipping the slice of life bits this time and I'm sad about it. The change of perspective is interesting, though. Next up: Once I finish two out of my three computer games on this list (this will probably be the first) I'll start another. If one of them doesn't win the poll, it'll be time for another STEAM BATTLE.

Persona Q: Halfwayish through Evil Spirit Club (P4 side). Running Yu/Kanji/Aigis/Zen+Rei/Naoto. Next up: Having a good time, but that's not gonna stop me from switching to Pokemon Moon once it comes out.

Homestuck: Only a few hundred more pages to go! Stuff's pretty nuts at this point. John has done his weird powers thing, and we're regrouping before...whatever it is we're doing now. Next up: Girl Genius

Civilization VI: Starting to get the feel of it. Currently stomping an easy difficulty game with China, and then I'll move into something harder.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE: Currently between dungeons, doing side stuff. Having a good time with it, although not getting to play very often. Next up: Persona 5. I am undecided whether I'm gonna finish this first or just jump ship on launch day.

Raiden, The Boss, Seymour, Ocelot, Baiken, and Lanky have challenged Dragonborn, Big Boss, Mantis, Vercetti, and Fox to a fight! Location of the fight: Corneria City - The capital of the most progressive planet in the Lylat System. It is in a state of ruin after Venomian attack, although no enemies are present.

Raiden is as he appears in Mortal Kombat X, with access to all of his fighting styles, moves, and powers.

The Boss is as seen in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. She is armed with her Patriot machine gun with infinite ammo.

Seymour is in his base human form from FFX, both playable and boss form. He has access to all his black and white magic shown from both forms as well as his overdrive Requiem, but he cannot summon Aeons.

Ocelot is as he appears by the end of Metal Gear Solid 3, armed with two Single Action Army revolvers.

Baiken is as she appears in the Guilty Gear series, with access to all of her moves except gameplay mechanics (invincibility frames, etc).

Lanky Kong is as seen in Donkey Kong 64, able to handstand at will, inflate himself just like a balloon, and dig various tunes. Lanky has his Trombone, although this has no physical effect on other mercs- for all intents and purposes, it is an ordinary trombone. He has his Grape Shooter.
