I've now made it to the Battle Tree. So I pretty much just have a large stack of side quests to finish up on. Overall I thought the game was a nice upgrade over SM.

I never really realized how bad Jynx was until now. I always thought it was faster and stronger than it was. Alolan Muk turned out way better than I expected. It was literally the only Pokemon I had that didn't get instantly blown up by a certain boss. Although, I guess this came at the expense of Jynx losing the chance to save the day via Focus Sash + Perish Song.

There was already a rumor reported on by Kotaku that a new Ace Attorney game is coming out in last 2018 for the Switch and mobile. Even if it's true, I'm not sure when an official announcement would be made.

I don't think Leonhart4 would like Madoka Magica. Although, I didn't think he would like Fate/Zero either. However, Madoka doesn't have Rider which might be a problem.

Shirobako is a good recommendation. The cast is solid and you get to learn how anime is made.

Requiring a character to be 5* to get the top level version of their weapon is normal. I guess support skills usually aren't 5* only, though.

I wouldn't really say Potara fusion is a dumb reason for a power up. Potara was already established as a method to get a massive power up for zero effort. The earrings were working exactly as they were expected to work.

There are some translations that are objectively bad like translating a line to mean the exact opposite of what the character said or adding factual errors like translating "20 years ago" as "25 years ago".

I think it's even longer than that since I used to withhold votes with intent of trading them away. I ended getting pretty busy a bit after Rydia's elimination. It was something I knew in advance would happen which is why I felt that Rydia needed to be able to get through the rounds without my help.

I'm only at 979. I think Mac Arrowny has seen quite a bit more then me. He has watched anime for longer than I have and I think watches more series per year than me. I try to aim for 100 series a year but it's pretty hard to reach. Like I'm only at 59 with a month and a half to go.

NoScript should be available by the end of the week, yeah. I've been using uMatrix as a replacement in the meantime.

As for CTR, I didn't use it myself and I don't know what specific parts of it you care most about, but if it's mostly the visual stuff, you might consider checking out https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/ or similar and tweaking userchrome.css to your liking.

We already had the Black Knight who was 4th. The new banner adds 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th. So they pretty much just went down the list and added the characters with the highest vote totals that weren't already in the game. This also means they are very blatantly skipping Micaiah.

Disc sales for the first anime in Japan were quite low. If they do want to do a season 2 anyways, they would likely do it as part of a campaign to hype up a new Ace Attorney game rather than just a standalone anime.

Type immunities are mostly a suggestion in the anime. Sometimes Ground Pokemon are immune to Electric attacks and sometimes they aren't. I think Ghost type is a bit more consistent. If a Normal type move is called out by name for use against a Ghost type, it rarely works.

Microsoft is currently in the process of shutting down Xbox Live Indie Games marketplace. People will no longer be able to buy games through the feature but redownloading already purchased games is still allowed. No date was given for cutting off redownloads so it seems like it will be supported at least for the near future.

I also want to complain about how the battle writing is underwhelming. We could have seen more variety of attacks, like Volt Tackle or Smokescreen, and it would have been awesome to see Charizard use Hyper Beam or Outrage, but they just had to stick to same few attacks.

The limited attack variety is due to the fact that a number of years ago the anime started enforcing a 4 move limit on movesets to mimic the game. As a result, Pokemon will only ever use 4 different moves in battle. So you don't see things like Orange League Drake's Dragonite using 10 different moves in one battle anymore. If you track Ash's Pikachu across episodes, Pikachu stops using a move whenever it learns a new one. Pikachu spams Thunderbolt all day long because it doesn't know Thundershock or Thunder like it did early in the series.

In this movie, Charizard had Slash, Flamethrower, Dragon Rage and Seismic Toss. That's a full moveset so no Hyper Beam or Outrage. I didn't track Pikachu's moveset so I'm not sure which 4 moves it had.
