I've got income now, and I forgot I could get most anime like a normal contributing person of society. I got a crunchyroll subscription, and I forgot just how fucking bad the video player is. It feels like I'm using youtube's video player 10 years ago.

I agree, Crunchyroll's player is terrible. A good friend of mine has a subscription and it drives him crazy. We were trying to watch Yuri on Ice and it was just non-stop buffering.

I finally managed to buy all of the Gun Blaze West manga. Got all three novels from a game seller I go to. $5 a piece. I'm pretty pleased. Only problem now is that, because Nobuhiro Watsuki was arrested, it makes me seems like a creep.

Only about three-four times.
Once from a friends dog when I was a kid. I went to pet her and touched her lip and she latched on to my hand. She didn't bite super hard but hard enough to bruise my hand. They other bites are from when my family owned a Guinea Pig. The little bugger liked to bite you if you scratched near his chest, man did those bites ever hurt. He just wouldn't let go.

I worked Comic Con over the weekend. It was pretty expensive with the hotel and all the other expenses, so I didn't buy much. But it did reaffirm that I want to do that kind of thing as a career. It felt great seeing all the smiling faces on both kids and adults alike being surrounded by characters and things they love, and knowing I played even a small part in that.

Unfortunately it was pretty hectic during the whole event so I didn't have a chance to ask how I would go about breaking into that scene. And when the show was over the guys in charge left surprisingly quickly, so I couldn't even ask during teardown.

that''s awesome, too bad about the costs though.
Forgive me if I missed it but how did you end up getting to work for Comic-Con?

Sleep is very important though it restores your body and mind. You NEED to sleep at some point. I find if I'm tired I don't enjoy anything.

I like reading because you can go at your own pace. And if you're reading manga you can linger on one page to appreciate the art/dialogue; watching a film you'd have to freeze frame or rewind.

Nobunaga Concerto is that anime.
Some teenager who doesnt pay attention in history class is thrown back in time and has to live as Nobunaga. Very interesting first episode and exciting! Establishes the plot without too much talking!
Action! Romance! Swords! Samurai!

okay Im going to go watch episode two now lol

oh that triggered a bunch of memories for me, I remember watching that anime when it first came out. It was pretty good, I should rewatch it.

I'm sightseeing rural Japan in google maps street view like a weeb. I didn't expect there to be so many narrow one lane wide roads, though it depends on where in Japan you're looking even though it's practically all mountainous. No room for drifting ha. It's probably pretty fun with motorcycles.

haha I used to do that all the time, thought the same things as you too- "wow there is a lot of narrow one lane roads out here", "huh no room for drifting".
It was fun to do, I'd throw on a playlist, pick a rural spot, and just click up through the roads.
