They insisted I called a poster a bitch, but I was referring to his topic as a "bitch topic" and argued that topics can't have hurt feelings. Took two appeals, but they did relent and admit topics can't have hurt feelings after all, and I didn't actually break the ToS. They simply interpreted it as me insulting the poster because that's what the person reporting it claimed (who was probably the TC of the topic). They're people too, they misread stuff, and they can change their minds. If you legit didn't breach ToS, state what happened calmly and concisely and hope, if it doesn't work, re-appeal (I had to twice, the second was looked over by a head mod who agreed that topics don't need feelings protection). Still may not work, but don't bother just because you think there's no point. --- Love and joy, and joyness |
