I have horrible vision, so to avoid having glasses that are thick as all hell it does cost a helluva lot extra to pay for the special thinnest versions possible. That being said, my glasses are literally the most important thing that I own, as I'm effectively blind without them, and they're also literally the thing that I use more than anything else, so paying good money for good glasses doesn't really faze me.

Are you far-sighted or near-sighted? Cause I know as someone who is severely nearsighted (i. e. ME), I'm limited to frames I can choose from cause the lens prescription I need unfortunately render them to be thick as hell.

As for the TC, you may need separate vision insurance, though I've no idea how much extra that'll cost you. Mines through my job, I have a pair of RayBan sunglasses that only costed me a little over $100 out of pocket (when whole original total was closer to $500).

Batt is my favorite "troll" on that board. If you actually talk to him, he's very intelligent, and mostly bipartisan if a little right leaning. Regardless, he doesn't follow party lines and has legitimate opinions on left and right issues. That's when he's being serious.

When he's in troll mode, he's the best at satire of anyone I've seen on this site. He'll get both right and left thinking he's dead serious about something and egg them both on into frenzies.

Problem is...sometimes he does take it a bit too far when it's not obvious satire trolling. Not the first time he got whacked with a Warned in the past, I know.
