Nor is it a racist remark, and pretending that it is undermines legitimate claims of racism.

What is a big deal and is inarguably shameful is the fact that he thinks admission to this country should not be based on what an individual has to offer and what they can personally achieve, but what country they were born in and whether we want those kind of people

Oh? And what achievements do you think most Haitian immigrants are bringing with them? Even if you were taking unskilled labor from both, Norway has a better education system so their workers would still be a cut above.

Yes, merchandising is a *huge* thing. Star Wars *constantly* has stuff coming out. Whenever you walk down a toy aisle, you're guaranteed to see Marvel, DC Comics, Pokemon, and Star Wars. And Transformers, of course.

Actually, Transformers is a great comparison. Transformers has had multiple blockbuster films, consistent tv shows and comics, an expansive lore, countless video games, and obscene amounts of merchandise. It also has a low-end kiddy market and a high-end NEEEEEEERRRRRDDDDD!!! market. (And I totally nerded out once and bought a huge $80 Thundercracker figure from TRU once.
