I wonder how many of these skills Intelligent Systems has to put out before people start seriously considering Harsh Command. I guess Micaiah can also run Sacrifice which is useful for Arena points anyways.

The [Stat] Ploy skills were introduced, but those were either rare(How often did you run into Defense Ploy when Summer Gaius was the sole person who had it?) or not used over Panic Ploy.

But yeah, I suppose I'm going to have to give Harsh Command to a few people now. Still, I'm already starting to get annoyed by these global debuffing skills. The first one at least had a condition to it....

Blue Gift ignores buffs on ranged attacks. I was confused as hell for a moment as to how Sothe got doubled with 44 Spd (Lyn gets 37 with bonuses,41 with Hone Speed, and 46 with that and her Bond skill)

Lol. This drew so much attention by ppl jumping to conclusions like I think adoption is wrong, when all I said was that a woman who was clearly unfit to have a child did did NOT raise him and maybe it could have turned out better if she could have made a CHOICE.

But I feel like the problem was the way she worded her original message. If you're not crystal clear in what you're trying to say, people will take it the wrong way. That's what happens when you talk to people who don't personally know you well enough.

Her original message just seems like she's using this tragedy as an opportunity to push a pro-choice agenda. Additionally, it makes her seem like she's trying to hint "You should abort X because they'll probably become a terrorist one day", which begs the question which qualities would justify abortion based on that reasoning.

...As opposed to "Not everyone is mentally fit to be a parent, and a mother should have the right to abort if no good would come from having a child".

But that wouldn't get as many reactions, would it?

Oh absolutely. You dodging usually just means that character can take another hit.

The enemy dodging means you just failed to kill someone who you couldn't afford to let live. So you either scrap your entire plan and put another unit in danger to kill the unit who dodged... or you lose a unit because you had no one and they ran up and killed someone who would have been safe, if not for the dodge.

I currently have 331 Stamina Potions.

In other news, I just got a new record for highest offense score. 4900. I suppose it helps that everyone on my team is merged for once. Lloyd's DC also picks up the slack for Valter having QR2 and a hp3 seal)

Hrm... one of these days I should check out how many matches 3 hp actually help me in. I mostly kept it on him for the sake of Panic Ploy(BK only has the seal). Maybe Heavy Blade would serve him well.

Because a 1% chance can happen 100 times in a row. It's not any more statically unlikely than it happening once. Not many people would consider that fun, especially since "I dropped a shitload of orbs and didn't get anything good" is the reason many people quit the game in the first place.

Well the problem with drunk driving is that you can't really stop anyone from doing it(Unless you somehow made it so cars stopped working if there is a hint of booze on you, but that would come with it's own issues). So by design it's a problem we can only react to after something bad has happened, isnt' it?

But "do nothing" is absolutely pointless. Even if there's no perfect solution(and few things have perfect solutions), doing nothing is one step below "Actively supporting it". Well I suppose "Can do nothing" and "Won't do nothing" matters in that case...

I personally wouldn't mind if drunk driving gave you a lifetime sentence on your first offense, but that still doesn't create a preventive solution.

Yes, I care about a solution that actually helps.

Granted I do agree that an outright ban on all guns would be highly impractical at best, it would still probably beat the current strategy of "do absolutely nothing".

As for what I'd personally do...

Any and all guns purchased by you will be registered to your name. If a crime happens with a gun under your name, it's on your head to explain.

Mandatory training. Too many idiots killing other people in accidental shootings, very few of which would happen if people knew what they were doing. People will be required to retake training once per year. Those who don't will have their licence revoked.

Limits on how many guns an owner can have, as well as ammo they can purchase. No man needs 20 guns. If you're buying enough ammo to take down a small army, that should be a red flag.

No loopholes on background checks. There's currently something about a "Three business days" rule that allows sellers to give someone a gun if their background check isn't complete by then? That makes no sense to me. Why have the background check at all if you're just going to ignore it if it "takes too long". It should take as long as it needs to take.

Additionally you would be required to have a licence to sell a gun to someone.

I'm sure there are flaws to these suggestions I'm not looking at, and I'm not certain if all of them are constitutional.

There's also the "never happening" possibility of amending the 2nd amendment.
