I generally don't listen to full lines voice acted in any game with it. I like having it but I read the line in my head quicker than they speak and then press X to move on, usually cutting the voice acting off halfway through. It's just nice to hear it anyway. |

It's hard to tell and I don't want to investigate in case of spoilers since I know it's a mystery series and my experience with stuff like that is that a single google search can accidentally show you massive spoilers. |

This may not end up working. http://www.oldversion.com/windows/aol-instant-messenger/ I tried downloading both versions here, but neither of them let you actually log in. The current version of AIM can no longer be downloaded from AOL's website. Also, making a new AOL/AIM account now requires you to enter your phone number, which they send a code to that you can't log in without. So I'm not sure how to proceed. www.aim.com still works, it's just... lame and not really anything like the program we used. |

| Delseban 12/08/17 8:36:50 PM #1 | The first night of AIM mafia played by board 8 was on December 16th, 2007. AIM is going to be shut down permanently on December 15th, 2017. It's been 10 years. (Sadly, it's off by one day) I think, in honor of AIM, and to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, we should have one last night of mafia, played on AIM. I propose Thursday the 14th. I am too busy on the other nights this week, (I could maybe do Wednesday), and even on Thursday, I won't be able to stay up late, so we'd have to keep it short. And it's the last day AIM will be online. I could also do a night this weekend, but it may be too short notice. I know AIM is archaic and we'd be better off playing on Discord or anything else, but I think it's only fitting to say goodbye to AIM with one last night of tribute games. (And yes, we'd have to download old versions of AIM, since the new ones don't support chats) Who would be interested in this? And if so, are you okay with the 14th? |

That said, there are players who were killed on night 1 who received enough votes to place 2nd or 3rd (And many killed night 1 that moved on to wildcard round, which is partially what it is intended for) No one killed night 1 got 1st place in votes though, as far as I know. However in one of the wildcard games, the player killed night 1 was widely speculated to be the one who was going to get the top spot. However, townies who got nightkilled on night 2 were, in more than one case, voted as the best player. So 2 days is definitely enough to give everyone a good idea of your skill level. 1 day is a lot tougher. |
