Guns are only 'easy' to get in America if you violate the law in some way to get them.

So the argument I quoted is not valid.

Going to another state to buy a gun is illegal in most cases, and gun shows still are required to follow state law to sell firearms.

Out-of-state sales REQUIRE an FFL dealer in the state you live in to take possession of the firearm before it's released to you.

If a claim is made, I want to see proof of it one way or another. I operate on facts, not feelings. If you're happy to believe something is untrue simply because your feelings want it to be untrue, more power to you. I like to know for real. It's very, very easy to verify whether these kids are students at that school or not, and I'd like to see actual evidence.

That is overreach and does nothing to enhance public safety.

The number of people killed using class 3 firearms is... none. They're collector pieces.

The cost and red tape makes it next to impossible for any potential criminal.

i mean im not about to generalize gun owners as crazy gun nuts, i just don't think people should own firearms. if they absolutely must, i dont think they should be allowed semi automatic or automatic weapons

Automatic weapons require intense background checks and are outrageously expensive. An actual select fire AR-15 will run you at least $15,000 and take months of paperwork and red tape.

i didnt say there were violent shootings, just gunshots. there are shootings just not every week

also i live in san antonio. was just letting you know that it's not paranoia

San Antonio seems pretty dangerous. I saw 5 cop cars at 5 different locations with their lights on in a 30 minute window. That was just from my vantage point in the Tower of the Americas bar. I was only there for a conference. I dont think I would want to stay.
