i know her from the climbing gym. she asked me two days ago if I had any plans on Wednesday. I said no, so she invited me to a party for singles I guess

I saw her again in passing at the climbing gym yesterday and she reminded me about it

Tonight I skipped the party and went climbing instead. I feel bad cause it looks like she worked really hard for it. She posted regular updates on her preparations (drinks, games, food, decorations) on a facebook group. I don't know her super well; I've only hung out with her once outside of the gym. I'm terrible at giving excuses and reasons.
