One of the great things about Family was that it dealt with the lasting effects of prior events. So often on TNG each episode feels self-contained, but it was interesting to see Picard's character having lasting psychological issues from becoming Locutus and getting some of his best character development on the series.

Jesse is pretty much legally a klingon. They tried to tell him that it wasn't an actual race, but he just snarled at them and swung his bat'leth around until they relented.

Let us drink blood wine and talk into the night of our legendary battles.

And suddenly I really like Worf.

My favorite Trek character. As Jeff said, he gets a ton of character development ultimately.
