He's sort of right. Peele said that a big part of his intention was to show the passive or "benign" racism of lots of white liberals that basically makes us feel good about not being "as racist" as the hillbillies and hicks who are more often seen as overtly racist.

He's wrong about the "true racists" part because that implies that only one side is racist when Peele was trying to demonstrate that racism is racism is racism and that being a white liberal with good intentions doesn't exempt you from being a racist just the same as the "others" with pitchforks in Alabama or wherever.

Some people think hydration isn't much of an issue in the winter but they're wrong. While not as crucial as in the summer heat, adequate hydration is still really important and believe it or not, you can get dehydrated in the winter.

Hydration is also vital with regards to alcohol. Proper hydration can keep you from getting too drunk too fast and more importantly, ward off the dreaded hangover. Dehydration is one of the biggest contributors to the symptoms of hangovers and that's now way to start the new year.

So properly hydrate yourself, preferably with water, before beginning the evening's festivities.

Nice. I'm going to bottle my gallon of winter warmer soon. 2lbs American 2-row, a half pound of honey malt, a half pound of crystal 60, mashed at 152 for an hour. Boiled for 60 minutes with one addition of I think 6 grams of magnum 12.4 AA. I threw in some fresh cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg, just tiny amounts because I didn't want it too spiced. Fermented with Safale s-04.

I did a hydrometer reading today and it's at 1.014 from 1.080 and it's a little boozy although not as much as I'd like. It's got an amazingly deep plum taste that I love in my winter beers and some other fruitiness. It's actually mostly fruity and not that malty, which I believe is from the honey malt. Either way, I'm loving it.

The only spice I can really identify is the cinnamon but it does have a little bite to it. I'm going to let it get a full month in primary as I typically do with all my beers and ciders, then bottle it, which will be Sunday, actually. I know it won't be at its best in time for Christmas but I'm sure it will be drinkable. Just the hydro sample was good, made me want to pour a glass right then lol. I'm also going to set aside a couple for next Christmas.

I may scale it up to a five gallon batch for next Christmas depending on how much I like the end result.

I had the same problem last year. Long story short, there was nothing in the lease about it and it blew up into this whole big problem that resulted in a few fights and repeated vandalism of vehicles. Shit was too crazy so I gtfo of that complex. But yeah, you're probably boned.

The NRA has it all figured out. They play up the "The government will take away our guns" statements every time a mass shooting happens and their supporters eat it up and buy more guns. Yet guns never get taken away.

I think this is the most infuriating thing about America's gun problem. The NRA and gun manufacturers have hijacked and perverted the second amendment with their manipulative, parasitic fear-mongering and the people they target will never wise up to it.
