Making money is fun, and having more money gives you a sense of power and freedom. People enjoy it in different ways: for some, it is purely greed and selfishness. For some, it's for family. I know some guys who work practically 24/7, doing triple shifts just to elevate their family's social status, usually these people come from a previously impoverished state. Or they're well-off but still want to leave something for their kids to live in comfort. And like others said, some people just enjoy working and being productive. Retiring and sitting around doing nothing sounds nice, but in actuality it's pretty mind-numbing and you lose a sense of purpose.

It's pretty hard to say "enough is enough" when it comes money. It's easy to say when you don't have money and being hypothetical, but once you see numbers grow it can become addicting. It's like chasing happiness with the "I'll be happy when...". When you have a girlfriend? A house? A car? And you're still not happy? Is a million enough? Will 5 million make you happier? Maybe 10 million is the sweet spot, and so on.

It's one of those games I didn't understand the hype for either, at first. I watched some Twitch streamers, and read about it, and it just looked like some boring game where you loot then get killed. I also thought Fortnite was pretty dull. My friend bought the game and we game shared it on Xbox One, and playing it changed my mind completely. Yeah it has a lot of problems, but it's also a ton of fun and very addicting, especially playing with friends, and the thrill of being top 5 in a super tiny circle is exhilarating.

Besides GTA, what games even still had cheat codes since the PS2 era? I mean, I mainly have RPGs, but I can't find any games in my PS2 collection that I remember actually inputting old school cheat codes into to get stuff.

And you can "fully complete" just about every game without getting the achievements; what does "do repetitive task 100 times" have to do with fully completing a game? I dunno, I like achievements/trophies, it's cool when you get them, but I never attempt to get all of them even in my very favorite video games. I think I stopped caring about them when I realized no one in the world gives two shits what achievements you have and most of them were just dumb time sinks.

I have one of those friends who MUST get every achievement in every game he plays, and he sounds absolutely miserable playing each game. At that point it's a job that offers back no value. What's the point?

Western games in general have been trending more in very conservative outfits for women and B-cups are pushing the boundaries of realistic breast size.

I'm not reading 16 whole pages but the few pages I did read makes it sound like she wants to keep you probably more for security and to settle down considering she has a kid but the ex sounds like the guy who taps more into her primitive instincts to fuck the "bad boy" and be wild and "free". Basically, she's torn because she wants the safe guy to support her but wants the other dude to ravage her.

The only solution besides dumping her and moving on (don't build a future with a chick with issues, it sucks, dude, and will ruin your life) is to become involved in self-improvement and make yourself better in her eyes than her ex. You mentioned he's jacked, start working out, start taking control of things, and learn how to really fuck her well and she'll forget all about him.

I was like "uh...can I help you sir?" and he asked me, "is this the men's room?" and I was like "uh, no, let me show you dude". I walked him out and an old lady was looking for him, apparently he had dementia or some similar old people thing and didn't know wtf he was doing.

I watched a little of that video a while ago, I think the thing that bothered me was that there were white people who were in the back with the black people but of course the camera only zoomed in on the black people in the back. I think there were 3 or 4 questions in a row I wouldn't be able to step forward on (only ones I remember were I only have a single parent and I had to pay my own way for college). The thing with privilege is that it tends to paint all and only white people as privileged while there are black influential families out there and there are poor white families out there struggling to survive.

I can't comment on the whole thing because I didn't watch all the way, but my girlfriend said it had a decent message that yeah some people get a head start but you can still proactively choose to make your life better.

In another one, I was in the far right lane, and there was a truck in the far left lane. I have no idea why, but he/she suddenly whipped into a u-turn right in front of an oncoming truck going the other way and got T-boned, the other truck had no way to avoid it. Last one I saw was in my college parking lot. Some stupid girl was driving down one of the aisles, and again whipped the car into a u-turn to get into the next aisle and smashed into a car.

This. I had one job where taking out the trash or lifting anything slightly heavy was "the man's job" and it was perfectly acceptable to everyone. Also, lmao about women being equal to men in labor jobs. I've worked in various warehouses, and women always get the easy jobs for equal or more pay. At my current job, we unload/load trucks and 95% of the women work half the pace the men do because they can't lift or push anything heavy. How do you figure it's impossible? Most Americans go out to eat or eat fast food, have you looked at not only the portion sizes, but the sheer amount of calories in everything? If you go out to eat at a restaurant, pretty much everything is in the 1000 calorie to 2000+ calorie zone, this is not including appetizers and desserts, and this is just one meal. Hell, sometimes I go out with my girlfriend to get a milkshake, and a medium size one of those is like 900 to 1000+ calories. Also, some cultures take pride in preparing and eating tons of food (you ever get with a Mexican family, they looooooove food).

Plus, most of our lives is spent being sedentary now. People drive everywhere, lots of people work jobs where you sit for 8+ hours a day, then you come home and sit to watch TV/play video games. If you spend your whole day sitting, getting obese probably isn't a major change in lifestyle, probably just makes it difficult to move from one seat to the next seat.

As for the mentality of it though, I don't understand it. I've only been slightly overweight once in my life, and that was enough for me to get my ass in gear and do something about it. I don't know how people can balloon themselves up to morbid obesity.

One last thing, is that there is pretty much zero education on healthy eating or exercise. People don't know how to read nutrition labels, probably have no idea how many calories they need, don't really know what's healthy besides what an outdated food pyramid might say, and think a 10 minute walk negates a 2000 calories meal.

It was a pretty fantastic game all around, the combat was a lot of fun, the story was ok, pretty standard anime fare (I'll admit I haven't achieved all of the endings yet, so this may change), and the gameplay has a lot of variety, going from hack n' slash to some old school shooter gameplay at times. The only con I have is that the open world is a bit too barren, big, and kind of a pain to traverse.

I don't know how hard you like your games, but make sure you do the intro segment on easy and just blow through it (you can't save your game at all until you beat it, and it's pretty lengthy). I tried it on Hard and beat my head against the wall when one mistake cost me 45 minutes and I had to start over. After you finish the intro, save the game and increase the difficulty if you like.
