No thanks to Cousins. His price tag is way too high. Draft Kyle Lauletta.

Count me in.

The NFL is never going to let my team get to a Super Bowl. So why should I bother watching?

Not making mistakes sounds like f***ing talent to me.

They make mistakes. They just never got called on them. That doesn't take talent. That takes referees in your pockets.

Jags were a referee away from making the Super Bowl. Jags/Eagles would have been infinitely more interesting than Eagles/Patriots.

And not a single penalty for the Patriots on offense or defense. Even for the times they mugged Marcedes Lewis.

Go on, tell yourself it was a fairly called game if that's what helps you sleep at night. I won't be losing any sleep over the cheating league. I'll just stop watching. Like a lot of people are doing.

Let's see..

They blew the whistle way too fast on the Jack fumble that could have easily went for a touchdown instead.

Pass Interference against Bouye was bullshit too.

A lot of holds on defense too--none of which were called, because it's the Patriots and the Jags. The key to beating Brady is keeping pressure on him. If you can hold like the Patriots did, having an offense like that is easy.

Nope. The Refs share a LOT of the blame. People will say otherwise because who cares about Jacksonville, other than Jags fans. They like to pretend the refs are fair (at least until their team is the one losing because of crappy calls), but they really aren't. This one was decided by the refs. Good job, Patriots fans. Your cheating team continues to cheat and are rewarded for it.

I'm under no delusion that my Jags will make it to the Super Bowl, but I really hope we can at least keep the game closer than the tacks did.

Also really hope we get a QB next year, and don't just stick with Bortles. I mean I like Bortles. He'd be a good backup. But we need an offense badly.

I wonder why the biggest massacre of the week got the Saturday primetime spot.

Because the Jags are contractually obligated not to get any primetime games. If they make it to the Super Bowl, they'll move it to 1:05 PM.

Jalen Ramsey gets ejected from the game for even instigating a fight (even though he didn't fight back when AJ Green hti him).

Seems like this should get a stiffer penalty than a 1 game suspension.

Great, now I'm having flashbacks to the Gene Smith years. In which we traded a 2nd rounder to get Blaine Gabbert, took Tyson Alualu in the Top 10, Drafted a punter in the third round, traded a 2nd rounder for a 3rd rounder, drafted Justin Blackmon. And 4 years later, I think there are two players acquired during the Smith era that are still here: Poz and Henne. (Lewis was drafted by Shack Harris, who was still somehow better than Gene Smith) Well technically I think Blackmon is still on the team for some reason.

Still, one moment form the Gabbert era stands out. "Whoa there motherfucker."

Man, if the Jags had drafted Derek Carr instead of Blake Bortles, we'd probably be playoff contenders right now (assuming everything else stayed the same.) Then again, we'd probably be stuck with Gus Bradley as our head coach, and probably win 2 or 3 games instead of 7.
