Nice, that could work out well in a lot of situations. The only problem I can imagine with that is dating (especially with a happy end, nudge nudge wink wink), as that largely takes part during evenings. It's not impossible to do it at other times, though.

Why do people do this?
I understand and accept that tipping is a thing in the North America, and it's not gonna go away. A lot of people make sure the tip reflects how satisfied they are.
For example: OK quality = 10%ish, Excellent quality = 20%ish, Shit quality = 5%ish

Why do people tip at all when the overall experience is terrible? I'm talking about when the restaurant in question put zero effort in making sure you have a good meal, like the food tastes awful and the staff is rude. There are plenty of places like that, yet people still tip at them.
Yes, a lot of waiting staff is largely dependent on tips for their income, but that doesn't mean that the effort they put into it doesn't matter.
Wouldn't tipping without the restaurant having earned it kind of defeat the point of tipping being an incentive for good effort on the restaurant's part?

I honestly probably prefer it to V (but not 1-3). At least it actually has some good boss fights. The gameplay goes downhill in the last 3 acts. If it kept up the quality of the first two acts, it'd be amazing. Also, if the cutscenes were spread out more.

I liked the faction vs faction element in the first two acts, how you could influence the outcome of the battle, or if you'd prefer just ignore the whole battle and sneak past it.
Then after Act 2, that's gone for the rest of the game. It's just "Get from A to B and don't get spotted, as usual."

I'm not sure what the creators were thinking. I understand they wanted to include some variety in gameplay, but it led to a point were it seems like they just weren't sure on where to go, they didn't have enough time or they just had no clue on how to implement an element like that for the rest of the acts. At the very least they could've added a faction vs faction battle in Act 5. It wouldn't have been that hard to implement.

I have been pondering on another question that was asked a while ago: how much money will you need to have earned before you quit my day job?

I don't think I'll ever quit 100%, because I enjoy the social contacts through my job and I still get to check the market in between moments at work.
I will cut down to 1 or 2 days if I reach 100k

True story >_<

During my work shift I went outside to bring two large garbage trolleys indoors, which usually would've been no problem. It was impossible to do on my own. It was like pushing a wall. One of those things almost ran me over. Luckily two colleagues came over to help me out. After that I stayed indoors in a corner with hot cocoa until it was over.

If I was a cat, my tail would've floofed.

Goal is to get 5 ETH, currently have 1.3 ETH. Biggest regret is putting most of my initial investment when I started into LTC, I got some of it at $100 but I got most of it at $200, so it's barely moved in comparison to other things.

Is anybody holding a chunk of BTC anymore? In comparison to other options right now I just don't see what the advantage of having it is other than using it to trade for other things (one day bittrex will let you trade with ETH)

Bitcoin is still a solid bet, theres so much room to grow it unreal. Support is holding solid at $13k for BtC right now from previous highs at $20k, its only a matter of time it pops back to previous highs. That alone would net you 40% easy if you just bought in right now.

The coming few business days should be interesting, considering what those Wall Street traders could do with their bonuses. BTC and ETH are very likely to make a noticeable rise.

There's finance news outlets. Often when a company of some significance is planning to launch a cryptocurrency, it's mentioned here and there in news articles. This also gives you the time to do a little more research about that company, thus making a better estimate whether it has a solid chance of success.

I've seen quite a few articles saying that on January 15th, Wall Street bankers will receive their bonuses, and knowing the average Wall Street banker, they'll likely spend quite a bit of that on BTC.

Sounds promising.
I've seen no mention of it yet in this thread, thought I'd just drop this bit of news here...

If you think, Wall Street bankers cant afford to invest year-round, you are sadly mistaken. It wont have any impact.

Not just bankers, by the looks of it. Some articles mention bankers specifically since it's apparently a trend among them, but lots of Wall Street traders are likely to spend their bonus on crypto currency, not just bankers (my bad).

Still looks bullish enough for me to buy a little extra.

I generally enjoy the RE movies as well, especially 1 & 3. 4 is alright, but I mostly enjoy it because of Wentworth Miller (who plays Chris Redfield). After that it goes pretty much downhill. The RE movies had never been much for story consistency, but after 4 they didn't even try anymore.

Agreed, unironically so even, even though I realise that qualitatively it's not that great by what qualifies as movie standards. I just really like the combination of sci-fi/horror/action. I can pretty much live with stuff like low quality in that mix, mostly because aside from Pitch Black, sci-fi/horror/action movies are almost always considered to be qualitatively bad.

Also, I especially liked those Goldberg contraptions Tom would sometimes make to set a trap for Jerry, even if they never worked as he'd intended.
