I keep seeing people harping on about gun control as if it would magically cause an end to all murders. I still don't understand what their argument is. Facts:

There's already 300 million+ guns in circulation. Even if we stop production and never sell any more ever again, there's still 300 million of them out there.

Criminals don't follow the law. Murder is already illegal, but that doesn't stop them. No gun, they just mow people over with a truck. Yet there's zero talk about banning vehicles. And rightly so, because that would be beyond stupid.

The core issue here is mental health, which people conveniently like to ignore. Bad people will do bad things, period. But we need to be asking why are they doing these things. The how is just a product of the why. Banning or even limiting the sales of guns does not fix the core problem. Simple as that.

I find it unfortunate that if Jesus really did perform miracles, there was absolutely no form of proof that people of that time period could have used to convince future generations.
