All i can say is that part of why I find the game fun is that the gacha part isn't as important as other stuff. You can dump thousands of dollars but if you don't grind for a grid of weapons your damage sucks. I guess this is more than one point but also they give out so much free currency for gacha draws it's kinda insane. I have like ~$1000 in spendable currency saved for gacha rolls solely acquired in game (i'm a F2P player) It's honestly a fantastic decompression game, like an idle/clicker game. As for my rolls this event so far, it's actually kinda ridiculous i've been popping off with at least one SSR a day since legfest. | _Raich_ 10/31/17 9:36:27 PM #4 | Mathmatically 75% damage reduction is far better. Your effective health goes from 10k to 20k, whereas 50% on 7.5k health is only 15k. Factoring in other RPG elements, less health means defense piercing attacks are a bigger issue, but you also heal easier. --- |

They get a lot of shit because weird/sketchy DLC stuff has consistently been a thing since SFxT, so like 5 years now. SFV actually isn't that bad DLC wise, but it's hard to defend MvCi. As for the DBZF stuff which i imagine is what stirred this topic to begin with, yes people are shitting on Bamco left and right for it, with many saying it's the first real blight on the game so far. --- |

They realized later that it'd be impossible to enforce no coaching during pool time so they restrict it to post-pools. They know it's not like a rule to be set in stone permanently. If there's ever some official CPT rule on coaching, then EVO would probably adopt that. --- |
