And historically speaking, things haven't ended well for the cultures that encounter them. Navigating their relationships with these nations has largely destroyed these minority cultures.

Is there a lack of hype for this movie or is it just me? The month or so leading up to The Force Awakens was filled with star wars hype everywhere you looked, it was a significant pop cultural event. I get that it had being the first star wars movie in a long time going for it, but the hype for this one feels tame compared to it.

I imagine it turning into a yearly franchise has something to do with it.

I think pre-rendered backgrounds should make a proper comeback. I like fully interactive 3D games as much as the next guy, but games like that have a place too.

Japan seems to have a thing against procedural generation. I mean their games seem to have been some of the last to include realistic physics.
