And yet somehow you asked that question when it was shown that she was like that before those 250 years. It was also shown multiple times that he promised to always protect her, that it would always be the 2 of 'em and then left her to the Yakuza's "care" (from her point of view).
Following that she was once again confronted with the fact that it would never be "just them" as he was prepared to sacrifice himself (the only thing she ever cared for) for others. Once again feeding her abandonment issues.

Okay, okay, I'm awake. There's no need to keep banging. I mean, look at the time. It's 3:10AM, just like it was yesterday. And the night before. And the night before that as well. In fact, for the last few weeks I've seen it in all my dreams: it's written on the walls, in every book, on every car registration. It's all I can see. And then I wake up at 3:10, to the same noise.

I don't know what's in my head. But I feel like getting up and seeing who's there. I think it must be the sleep deprivation. It messes with your head. At first I thought I was making these noises up, but, it seems now they're real. I kept waking up with these scratches on my face. I thought I was going insane. I imagined myself scraping the flesh from my cheek as I lay there. The thought of these actions being beyond my control made me want to seek help. But they'd find me crazy. Hell, if I do, why wouldn't they?

Definitely from above me. My heightened sense of awareness during this frightening time is evident. I can hear my heart beat. Thud thud, thud thud, thud thud. It's the only thing I can hear in this silence. With one deep breath, I'll creep towards the hatch.

There was no need to show its potential in the Books/Movies because LOTR has never been about a power scaling universe even though people like to make it one. The fact Gandalf didn't personally take the ring to Mordor is proof enough of the dangers of the ring, also the corruption of King Theoden was shown to illustrate how even the most noble and righteous can be turned by sauron, and that was without the ring being used.

If any of the stronger characters actually obtained the ring than the story would end there, Toiken would have to use an even bigger dues ex machina to rationalize how the rest of the fellowship could have beaten whoever got the ring.

Okay, I can get behind that.

again: its power is over the wielder. you see the ring's power frequently: everyone who comes near it goes crazy with lust for its power, even though they could only have a fraction of that power. the ring in the dark lord's hands had such power that he almost destroyed a united world.

But got beaten by a human with a sword. Not all that impressive power. You say it's power is only over the wielder, followed by stating it amplified power. Maybe LotR just isn't for me...

Oh, it's a thing for sure. I live in Europe where these assholes thrive due to popularity of Tour de France and such. But there's also a ton of people here that use bikes for everyday transportation and many of those are considerate enough.
I get the frustration of wanting to get somewhere fast and not being able to pass a slow-moving bike. I've been on both sides of this situation hundreds of times.
It all boils down to both parties being considerate and courteous of others using the road. Sadly there are a vast number of entitled pricks using the very same road as this topic shows.

There are about a dozen genres. Techno, house, electro, trance, dance,drum and bass, dupstep, hardcore,... Many of those even have a ton of subgenres. We called it by those names decades before the term EDM started popping up. That term still isn't used here.
I hate it as much as I hate calling everyting featuring a guitar and drums "rock", there's a clear and major difference between Elvis and Metallica.

My first post in this topic shows I don't. Dude has catchy tunes. I took issue with the statement that not liking pop songs means you must not like clubs or dancing. The kind of clubs that don't play artists like Bruno vastly outnumber those that do here.

Unless it's some sort of magic bike that appears out of nowhere, you should have passed it as you approached the intersection and therefore would be aware that he is to your right as you prepare to make your turn

I see you've never been to any sort of these places or have any knowledge of the genres by your usage of that awful acronym (really despise that acronym). Maybe hopping around like idiots is what happens in US "EDM" clubs. But over here we dance. If i had to compare it'd probably resemble the dancing at R&B/hip hop places the most.

It's fucking stupid how cyclists are taking over the streets. If there is a one lane road and two perfectly good sidewalks in a long, straight street, why can't the bicycle go riding at 1 MPH on the sidewalk? Noooooooooooooooo they have to ride at 1 MPH on the main road, slowing everybody down, until his majesty raises his arm looking like a chicken with an itch and then turns right or left on a second's notice.

Roads were paved for cars, not bicycles, deal with it. There is no reason they can't use a sidewalk.

Except for the law stating that sidewalks aren't for bicycles. I don't know about the US, but here anyone over 10 years old riding a bike on the sidewalk could potentially be fined. But we also have dedicated lanes inbetween the road and sidewalk here in most places

It's not strictly enforced, but bicyclists are encouraged to use the roads in the US and not the sidewalks

So pretty much the same. I've never been fined even though I hopped on the sidewalk in front of a cop dozens of times. All it takes is one having a bad day though.
Bicycles are also a much more common means of transportation here.

What the fanboys love to purposely ignore is that the essential exclusives that the PS4 has like God of War and Last of Us, are offset by Games like Gears and Sunset Overdrive.

Theyre all games that people would like to play, but not enough to buy the console for.

Did you even read my post for that matter? The one were I stated I'm not arguing quality or AAA budgets, but the fact that saying things like "The majority of PS4 exclusives are JRPG or weird unpronounceable titles" is a misinformed or downright ignorant statement to make.
Hell, most of those JRPG or weird Japanese games never make it overseas so I don't know why people pretend they make up most of the exclusives here when that's not even true for Japan itself.
