| ponyseizures 01/18/18 1:04:01 PM #1 | Just finished it. Protagonist is a dull, passive subject who gives in way too much to peer pressure, post-pilot. Some characters are intricate like Daniel, Kim, Alan or Bill whereas others have development that takes far too long to dive into or is presented poorly. I think my biggest complaint is that there's a huge lack of positive rewards; show is compromised of 99% misfortune and suffering and 1% triumph. It's really not that great, I think the only reason it's upheld is because Apatow and the actors went on to do much better things, garnering fanbases that went back to defend his old work. --- 4124-4997-6171 |

Pretty boring in 2017, though. Track 2 - Really love the distortion in this track. The boggly, incomplete vocals are a nice touch too. Kind of like real people sing, except not people- kid squids. Track 3 - Song does a 180 at 0:32 and abandons it's serious tone but doesn't really lose its sense of fun and rivalry. I like it. Track 4 - The intro absolutely fits the theme of Robobot Planet. It's robotic rhythm is a cold reminder of the environment that Pop Star has unwillingly become. The violin-enter is nice, too. --- 4124-4997-6171 |
