Ive heard that the physical pressing and packaging is pretty inexpensive to manufacture, so the savings wouldnt be all that much. The packaging shouldn't matter. You're eliminating the middle man. You're going direct to customer. If anything, digital should be wholesale cost. If Amazon/Best Buy can sell a PHYSICAL copy for $45 then a digital should, at the very LEAST, be that price. Personally, I never buy anything but physical. I even broke down and purchased the physical version of Secret of Mana from Gamestop. I HATE Gamestop. I will never set foot in Gamestop. | reason 11/18/17 12:52:06 PM #15 | I NEVER trade or sell music equipment. However, back in the late 90's early 00's the 7-string guitar craze was going on and I fell into the trap. I had recently purchased a Custom Epiphone SG and didn't really like the way it felt. It wasn't expensive (around $400-500). I was in a music shop while in college and saw what I though I absolutely HAD to have! It was an 7-string Ibanez exactly like the one Wes Borland was playing. I traded in my SG (w/ custom case) for that guitar and a generic Bass case to put it in PLUS $400! Man, the thought of that now makes me want to PUKE! That guitar might go for $100 today, but that's life. Also, I purchased a Gibson V that I'd wanted my whole life. Literally 2 days after it arrived it fell off it's stand before a gig and the head snapped right in two! I've still got that guitar. There's never enough time for anything with work. : ( I at least gotta finish The Stand soon The dark tower starts getting REALLY good in the second book, The Drawing of the Three. My favorite is book four, Wizard and Glass (since it's the backstory). But books six and seven you could tell were just lazily rushed together to finish it up. I think Dark Tower, in general, is insanely overrated due to the fact that King labels it his "magnum opus", which, IMO it definitely is NOT! Also, Needful Things, The Hodge's Trilogy (Mr. Mercedes) and the first 5 Dark Tower books are good along with Eyes of the Dragon.
