Yeah, I started farming Nergigante on my own after I dsicovered 90% of the time online a party of randoms will faint 2+ times. The odds of success went up if I had people higher than HR 14 in the group though.

Plus, it's much easier to break the parts you want solo than it is in multiplayer.

I think that quest only took me a little over 6 minutes the first try and that was with forgetting about the northeast camp and transporting it all the way to the southwest both times. You move much faster using the Kulu gloves with the Transporter Pro skill (or whatever it's called).

Congrats theawesomestevr for winning the Super Bowl!

Seriously surprised I wasn't the only one taking the Eagles there. Good job.

Thanks guys. I honestly was leaning Patriots earlier in the week (I picked them last year in a yearly playoff prediction thing against the Falcons for whatever that's worth). I decided some time yesterday I think that I was going to ride with Foles.

Can't take too much credit because I expected the Eagles' defense to play way better than they did, but I did believe Nick Foles was going to have a good game, but man, he had an awesome game.

Congrats to the Eagles and their fans (well, the not steretypical Philly fans at least >_>).

BlueCrystalTear posted...
I just realize I confused put a 6 where it should have been a 5. Eagles had to win by 5, but they won by 8 so yeah, Stevr wins. (Other than that typo, was everything correct there?)

Congrats to you, Stevr! Well done. This means you can watch next year, right?

Thanks! I also picked the Eagles +3.5, so if they lost by 4-10, then Ashethan would have won that tiebreaker, but the points tiebreaker was correct I believe. Oh, and thanks for taking our picks and posting them!

I'll be honest though, I just really wanted Foles/the Eagles to win, so this was just icing on the cake.

As far as a draft prediction thread, it wouldn't surprise me if there's enough people on the board that would be interested, but I know I've never been good at or cared too much about draft orders. I still might participate anyway just for the heck of it if you do one though, Ashethan.

Is this the kind of insanity required to beat the Pats?

Kill a ton of clock and go for it on 4th down at your own 45

I think with 5 minutes left, thye have to go for it logically. You either give the Pats a short field and your offense a chance to come back if they get 8 on the next drive, or you convert. Don't want to punt have have New England get 1st down after 1st down and never get the ball back.

I totally disagree. The ball was still pinned between his forearm and his body. The ball is allowed to move. There needs to be clear loss of possession to overturn there.

Eventually the Patriots are going to get stopped, their defense needs to make a play or they aren't winning this game.

To be fair, the Pats' d has been beaten on some really tight coverage where Foles fit the throw in a very small window. This Eagles D is giving up plays to open receiver after open receiver. Not a great pass rush from either team so far.

Don't you also need to make an "act common to the game" in addition to that if you want argue it was a catch then fumble? Incomplete was the right call, IMO.

I'd have to see the play again, but I wasn't sure it was immediate that the defender got there and knocked the ball loose. I thought it was close whether Smith got an extra step in which is why I think they should have reviewed it. They only showed one replay of it, and it was from a bad angle to see the ball.

Are you an MWC alt? In what universe is that not a hold?

It was within 5 yards and he wasn't tugging his jersey or anything severe in a game where they've let everything go. If they were calling the game tighter, I'd agree with you, but that was a pretty inconsistent call given the rest of the game.

I also think they should definitely at least have reviewed the Torrey Smith catch they called incomplete. He caught the ball, got two feet in, then had it knocked out of his hands by the defender before he ever went to the ground. Seemed like they just wanted to avoid any controversy by not looking at another "is this a catch or not?" play.

As much as it pains me to say this (and it does pain me greatly), I think Brady Quinn may have been overlooked for Comeback and Breakout Player of the Year. He lost most of the season last year to injury if my poor memory of last season serves me correctly. This will be the last time I mention this, however, because it sickens me to say anything positive about Brady Quinn ever.

If you don't mind, KCF, could you let us know what the QB ratings (passer rating/whatever other terms for it) are for the 5 QBs?
Oh, and while I'm askingfor stats, what were Tucker's 50+ stats? Thanks, KCF.

Looking like there may be a few players on the ballot I'll have to vote for despite it going directly against my voting principles!

Thanks, and yeah I feel the same; I would gladly given up the picks victory for a Jags win. At the end I was just praying I could get some small sense of victory though. Would have been crushed if New England added points in the closing 2 minutes.

Another boring Super Bowl. Can't wait until Brady retires. Then the Patriots can go back to being mediocre. Especially since they traded away Jimmy G.

Yeah, I hear you. This New England team is good relative to the weak AFC field they faced, but pretty bad compared to their past teams. It'll be real bad if Foles faces them I fear. I actually prefer the Eagles' defense though, and I don't know if Keenum and the Vikes' defense will be enough.

Too many injuries to star players this year made the rest of the playoffs hard to predict which is exciting, but the Super Bowl has a good chance to disappoint.

I think the Eagles would have won it all if Wentz didn't go down.

definitely biased officiating, but terrible playcalling by the jags cost them this game

why stop doing what was working so well

Calling all passing plays when inside the Pats' 40 at the end with over 2 minutes left was just... ugh. I picked the Pats here though because of how obviously weak the Jags' offense is, and playing the Pats in New England, you're very likely to get the wrong end of the whistle.

Weak offensive teams can't overcome that. They need pretty much everything to go their way.

I don't remember what Jukkie's trade was at this point, but I thought I sided with him on it at the time. That said, this doesn't even seem like a "this one guy's getting a bad deal, but it isn't egregious" situation.

This just seems straight up like it makes sense for both parties. I have one of the worst CB situations in the league, and I wouldn't trade a 3rd rounder for a 27-year old 78 CB (maybe if he was a 2nd or 3rd year player that would change, but at 27, I don't think there's any chance of that). The value seems very reasonable here.

L2 is your 3rd character. Fireball + L1 or L2 bring in the super move combos for your 2nd and first respectively.

I could be totally wrong on this, but I think that's only for projectiles that use one bar of your meter. Like a teleporting kamehameha with Goku could be used to initiate the combo, but not just a regular, meterless kamehameha.

Also, obviously each assist super uses one additional bar of your meter.
