The whole thing where you had to collect random toys and items for weapons/traps and anticipate which home Marv and Harry were gonna hit so you could get there first and set up your traps to give yourself the advantage, but if you didnt you could still win but itd be more difficult because theyd have the advantage. Also how instead of simply defeating them or dying, you have to get their Pain bar full before their Loot bar fills, and your weapons and traps serve to stall them from looting while also increasing their pain, and if they catch you it doesnt mean you die and have to restart the level, they just hang Kevin on a doornail in a far section of the house so theyre free to loot until you make your way back to them. And when you win by increasing their pain bar before their loot bar, you drive them out of the house and then its back to anticipating where theyll go next, all while an overall game timer counts down until the police arrive, so the entire game is about simply stalling the bandits through each house for long enough until the cops come. --- |

The game is so short that I beat it the night I bought it (and the night my parents got me it for Christmas back in the day), but its among my favorite 5 hours in gaming history. --- |

Only downside is the cable coming from the bottom, dont know who thought that was a good idea. Probably my favorite triggers and face buttons ive ever used though. --- |

It belittles the mental warfare you and your opponent are having as you try to outplay one another. It dispatches the adaptability of techniques you need to utilise when your opponent has figured your playstyle out. It erases the incredible comeback victories you can have after being down 90 per cent of the match. It completely shatters the rewarding feeling of fighting tooth-and-nail for 20+ minutes to come out the victor by a tiny margin. It makes for very shallow gameplay for most matches because there isn't enough time to feel like you are developing a good strategy against your opponent. What a fucking nerd holy fuck --- |
