The proof is in the preoccupation liberals and conservatives tend to have about fake news or media bias. I like to think that not super long ago, this wasnt the case because it wasnt easy for people to read clickbaity headlines catered toward their political leanings.

See I remember the Clinton administration and Newt's Republican party and so I assumed you must have been talking about a time before that because things were still hilariously polarized back then. Really, there's no reason not to breathalyze anyone they've got stopped already. If they haven't been drinking, they'll blow zero and there won't be a problem. If they have been drinking and blow over the limit, then the cop's caught an impaired driver and everyone wins except that douche.

Boxing is a joke because there isn't an overriding body that forces belt holders to fight challengers who have earned a chance. Instead they get to cherry-pick their opponents and we end up with "champs" like Mayweather who wait until their biggest threats are over the hill or fight cupcake after cupcake then proclaim themselves the goat.

I don't like Codecademy. Well, I don't know about the paid version, but the free version practically just tells you what to write at every step. It makes you feel like you're learning stuff but I realized later on I didn't really learn much at all.

In my experience it seems like Codeacademy is more for drilling syntax and best practices than it is general programming and basic problem solving fundamentals. Typically when you see tutorials on specific technologies you can expect they'll laser in on the quirks of that technology rather than being a generalized courses on the field of study.

If you're looking for tutorials on how best to constrain for loops and structure things logically you should look for algorithms classes instead of something "learn <insert very specific technology here>" classes.

yes, we're all aware no one is actually saying Yammy, but there is audio distortion overlaid on top of the original recording (likely due to the poor rerecording quality) that sort of sounds like it. Listen carefully and you can hear it on top of laurel.

I've been thinking about using it to learn Spanish. I took 3 years of it in High School so I'm hoping a lot of it will come back to me, but I feel like if I don't know Spanish in 20 years I'll be at a huge disadvantage in the US.
