"Cotton-picking" is a common trite phrase from different times that has already been used so often that its mostly used to express emotion. Kind of like "hornswoggle" and "peck-of-trouble." I would agree to this, Because I have heard the term used before, and never thought it had any racist connotations on its own. Id be willing to accept they didn't mean anything racist by it, but they were dumb and it was a racist remark. But at best, saying it to a black person - immediately after they called you a racist, is very poor judgement, and at least a little racist. |

There is no middle ground here. In a more real sense, very little, but that's because I'm not even American. Still, Canada's PM has a lot of problems, and everyone just gives him more or less a pass because theres a nut next door. IIRC Trump got mad at China like a month ago or something and threatened a trade war with Canada. This likely won't lead to anything, but that's a big issue for Canada, and even worse because Its been completely forgotten about for whatever dumb thing Trump did recently. |

This, especially with a normal type, Hyper Beam just has the huge amount of power to maybe kill something you otherwise wouldn't, making it great for when you probably won't survive two turns. Although IIRC you can't switch out on a recharge turn And considering Tauros' movepool is absolutely horrible gen 3, its not like he'll be losing out on another move by going Hyper Beam. Its so awful OP needs to put that base 40 Special attack to use. |
