I have mixed feelings about this. Like MNTwins said FIFA is not up front with costs and are extremely corrupt about things. On the other hand as a soccer fan it would be nice to be able to make it to a World Cup game (I wasn't able to afford tickets to the last one held here).

Are any of you voting in your primaries? They changed the law here so unaffiliated voters can vote in primaries but when I got my ballots the other day I realized you're only allowed to fill one out for one party, lame (but totally fair and probably wise). I still don't feel like registering because I don't want a bunch of party spam. Sounds like there's no benefit to me at this point, no?

Anyways, I feel like it's important to vote but I hardly know anything about these races and for each ballot there are only like two or three races out of ten-ish total that actually have more than one option

We don't have to register a party affiliation but in Wisconsin people are able to pay to see who voted for which party. My wife gets a lot more spam mailings and calls because she tends to vote closer to one party. I don't get much because I vote all over the place so I appear less partisan.

I use the Starbucks app. I like it because I can order what I like without mistakes being made (so far) and being able to skip the line and go straight where the drinks are placed after making them and just grabbing my drink.

Same here. I picked up the habit Freshman year in sports (practice started before the school year did) we would use everyone's last names only. To this day I still do it with the teachers I worked with and the teachers my children have/had.

I have two CRT tvs. One is a back up in case the other one breaks that I connect a Playstation 1 and N64 on. My PS2/3/Gamecube/Dreamcast/Wii are connected to a HDTV.

Yeah, we have one. I have absolutely no idea why though. It only gets used something like twice a month. It rings a lot too, but nobody ever picks it up because it always says "British Columbia" or something else fishy.

We get a lot of fishy calls from D.C. We have the house phone since its cheaper to have it bundled with internet and cable. My kids do use the phone though for when they talk to their friends.

I need to find an arcade with Baby Pac-Man. I remember liking it when I was a kid. Pac-Man mazes and pinball combined into 1 game...man I need to play that again.

No he didn't. His son did, and OJ just took the fall so they wouldn't start looking in the right direction. Most of his blatant "I TOTALLY DID IT" behavior was just a deliberate smokescreen to keep the heat off his son.

This. Reporters were also unable to find his son for a while after the murders. The time he was unavailable would have been enough time for him to heal from any wounds he sustained in the attack.

Why? What kind of school did you go to? And every year was like that?

Pretty much. Drop out rates were high in the early/mid 90s. I live in a large city and a lot of students dropped out of the schools here. The parents would put their kids in different schools every year in hopes that they would stay in school, but that really didn't work.

Freshman-Junior year was 8 classes 50 minutes each. Senior year I just needed a couple of classes so I only went until around 10 a.m.

I (and my wife) make budgets and track our spending. At first it was a pain but after doing it a couple of years its pretty easy. The first year we just tracked our spending in various categories. The second year we made a budget based on the prior year spending. The third year we tried to lower are spending in some categories. Now we have monthly budgets for each category and if we don't use it all then it carries over to the next month.

Yeah for the most part you will be fine. There are some minor things that may be spoiled if you plan to watch Black Panther some time later, but its nothing really big and may go unnoticed. Black Panther is not required to have watched to understand what is going on. The only movies I would tell people to watch before are Civil War and the latest Thor movie.

I found Balloon Fight boring when it first came out, so I agree I don't need that game for the 8th time or so. I would think it would be an add on cost for SNES, N64 and Gamecube. I can see them having the $20 base price but then additional $5-15 bucks for each library of games.

It is dumb. Even though I have the various Nintendo console (and portable) games I want to play/play again, I think this is not a good idea. They are either going to make more classic consoles or they will eventually release more classic games with the online service.

They pretty much did shoot themselves in the foot. They gave away movie rights because (I assume) they had no plans to make movies themselves at the time. And because of that, they neglected to include the necessary legal framework that would allow them to get those rights back.

Agreed. This movie seemed to be more about revealing Thanos's motivations and character than anything else. Everything else seemed to be more like background activity to that.

Marvel was going through bankruptcy when they licensed out the rights. They would get some money back from each movie but obviously not like if they would make their own movies. At the time they could barely stay afloat, and as you said they had no plans (or even the means) to make movies.

For the battery, I am sure it is more of them not being held responsible for lost saves after five years (as that was the typical life for the batteries they used). Yet, like you said a lot of people have games that still has the original battery working in them.
