If there's seriously no USB option in the BIOS, then I'm going to just take a guess on it probably CAN'T. You might be able to do it anyway if you use certain programs. I ran into quite a few forum posts about them in Google, when I first had to figure out how to get an EFI based system how to boot from disc.

Considering it's XP, it's possible the computer may be too old for USB booting. You may have no choice but to go for a disc or look for some program that'll let you improvise on it.

If you're trying to do it on Windows 8 or 10, they both use EFI/UEFI. You'll probably have to declare it directly for where you want to boot. I remember it was that way when I wanted to use a Linux disc.

I'd say haters, since they're people that have dedicated their time & energy to something they only care about on the basis of how much they dislike it, with spite simply because other people DO like it in the most extreme cases.

Fanboys, even if the praise is excessive & misplaced, are at least promoting something because they legitimately think it's good, & that other people should try it.

I've never felt as if the "standard" 7-8 hour, 5 days a week, work/school time was ever necessary. This is easily proven for school, as the average college course is generally approximately an hour or so, & only meets 2-3 times a week. Part of the purpose for grade school is just babysitting & busywork.

For work, I'd say it's partially a holdover from "production" based economies, such as farming & factories where more time meant more 'X' was possible. It's relatively pointless for a lot of industries, given we run more on skills & service based work. Even then, a lot of jobs eventually handing out pointless work mostly because "you're there" & so you aren't "getting paid to do nothing" regardless of how relatively meaningless the "something" is.

I don't hate sports, but they're really not my thing to watch. Playing them is usually more fun, but the thing that really kills it for me is the culture around it. Remove the rioting & overreacting to which team loses (or wins in some cases), & I'd have no problems with it.
