I live in the middle of a house on my left and on the right is a little canopy with 2 benches and a grassy area for dogs to mess around. It says clearly on the sign the hours and no alcohol

I normally let it slide but its fucking midnight and they're so loud my dogs wont stop barking. Their rank weed is so bad I can smell it inside my house.

I have to be up in 4 hours and they wont ort me sleep

Like holy fuck, that is literally an impossible shot and he was way more likely to shoot some poor rando asshole just minding their business.

He deserves to be fired and lose his pension for that shit show, completely reckless behavior.

Because the officer was a good enough officer that called everything over the radio. The block was leading into a school that got notified and went into immediate lockdown

He was able to identify that the block was empty. And it was not an impossible seeing as the guy is dead.

Again the officer exited the car, followed the other suspect and got his pinned down location on the top of those stairs because he notified control to lockdown the school

His tactics are pretty bad. By the time the car stops he's out of ammo and takes forever to reload (the whole time he is totally exposed), then he wastes almost all of his second magazine and moves away from his car which has his rifle/shotgun

Dude, we all know you're a cop. We get it that you have a bias for your profession and need to defend it while telling people they don't know as much as you do about your own job.

Just remember to be honest and admit there are major problems with law enforcement across the country as well. Your comment defending the Las Vegas PD was pretty telling. Major PDs in big cities having corruption issues is by no means unheard of and you just immediately dismissed it without any real argument being made.

For the record, cops being jerks should be very illegal. It is an abuse of power and does no good to help the community. I get it, the law is written in such a way as to give law enforcement certain powers and privileges. The problem is when you have no real means of holding law enforcement accountable.

Color me shocked when this goes on for too long and now law enforcement has a major PR problem that has only gotten worse and will continue to get worse until law enforcement decides to make some very significant changes to their operations.

Explaining the legal difference between a pat down and search is not showing bias. I'm sorry I read laws. How biased

They approached a guy sitting in his car in a driveway, said they smelled weed, and in a fairly invasive manner patted the guy down. Then made fun of him for his clothes and said some dumb jokes. Basically just harassing him. Then they let him go.

They pulled another guy over for playing music too loudly. He stopped in his driveway. They cuffed him and put him in the car when they found out he didn't have a driver's license on him ("it's in my house here"). They never informed him of why they pulled him over, they didn't read him any rights... and then they just let him go after telling him he needs to pull over immediately next time. They didn't even check his license...

None of this illegal per federal law. Dick move? Yes. The whole reading miranda rights thing is really not how you see in movies. I've read miranda once, to a shoplifter.
