AA was disappointing for me. The pacing felt off and it never captured the best moments in the game. I know it's hard to adapt a game but they could have done better.

Doraemon was the name I grew up with but I'm also familiar with the old translation thanks to old manga I still have.

Also didn't expect to see another Hong Konger to show up on Board 8

Doraemon was my childhood anime when I had zero concept of an 'anime'. Most people here are American and wouldn't know about it, but where I live it was THE anime. I used to rush home every day after school to watch it on TV, and here probably anyone younger than 30 today has seen it at some point. Kinda like Pokemon except older and more popular.

Anyway it is a (kind of educational?) kids show and I grew out of it. There is a basic premise and some backstory but almost no actual plot line so I don't really recommend it unless you like slice-of-life stuff or have time to kill. The manga and especially some movies are pretty good though.

Is it even possible to do a anime rankings list? A lot of people would nominate animes you never saw and there's no way you have time to slog through all of them. Unless you limit noms to those you have completed.

Well if there are songs from anime I saw I would have stronger opinions on them, either good or bad. If I'm disinterested then I would be likely to put them in mid-range.

Or my songs are really just not tazzy's thing.

Yeah I really have no idea what makes an anime song good or bad. Tazzy is here talking about instruments and choruses and stuff and I can't discuss those.
Anyway there's another ranking topic coming up, hopefully my songs will do better there.
