Only if there's also a tax on people that live past a certain age (say retirement age) to fund their expensive care. Potentially, some unhealthy people will cost less due to dying earlier.

Or we could just not go down this route all, for various reasons (the divisiveness, the administration, the effects on people that exacerbate the issue trying to be fixed, etc.).

Cool. I've beaten the GBA version several times (sometimes using this translation guide: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/gba/582124-super-robot-taisen-a/faqs/17517), but this would be more enjoyable.

Aside from the really short ones like Ruined and Cloud Kingdoms (I'll also ignore Dark/Darker Side for that reason, even though they're listed), it's between Cap and Moon Kingdoms. They're really bland visually and unlike traditional Mario collectathon levels. They're not great to explore either, with the large sections in the former that you need to fly over and the low gravity in the latter. I don't think the Power Moons have a great deal of creativity or variety either. Cap Kingdom is pretty much the tutorial level after all.

At least Moon Kingdom has the relatively fun final section, so I'll vote Cap Kingdom as the worst.

I can't stand Trump, but I do think he's a long way away from being a "Hitler". I'm sure we can all come up with similarities, but there are plenty of differences too. I also don't think he's a savvy enough political operator or devious enough to do the same damage Hitler did (although he can certainly do some).

Hitler actually managed to keep a lot of his unsavory views to himself for years, only slipping up occasionally. Trump, on other hand, says pretty much everything that comes to mind.

BillyKidd posted...
Don't forget the whole dictators like to disarm the populace before going on a genocide spree and Trump wants the people to keep their guns.

As far as I'm aware, gun laws were more permissive in Germany under Hitler than in the Weimar Republic, except obviously for Jews.

If Trump suddenly talked about or enacted exceptions for Mexicans or Muslims, for example, he'd be a bit more in line with Hitler. He hasn't done so, as far as I'm aware.

I forgot to mention that Morrowind Graphics and Sound Overhaul is another option. I'd recommend the STEP Guide though as it achieves a better result. MGSO is easier to install, but it's outdated and causes its share of issues.

In terms of small fixes, Talrivian's State-Based HP is mandatory. Delayed Dark Brotherhood Attacks is good to have. As is Herbalism For Purists.

The Less Generic NPCs mods really improve the dialogue; definitely install these. Less Generic Nerevarine, Tribunal and Bloodmoon mods are separate. Install these too.

If you want to change the levelling system, MADD Leveller makes small improvements. Galsiah's Character Development (don't use Talrivian's mod with this) completely overhauls levelling, to the point where stats are allocated automatically as you level up skills.

For Telvanni characters, Rise of House Telvanni, Uvirith's Legacy and Building Up Uvirith's Legacy are fantastic. Make sure you have the latest versions and compatibility patches.

Ic3Bullet posted...
Do not use alchemy. Some will disagree, because alchemy can be overpowered, and you can get most of the benefits I mentioned above without having to level those skills up. However, gathering ingredients and crafting potions can be extremely tedious and dull, and its probably added at least 10 hours to my playthrough. No character I use in the future will use alchemy.

I do agree not to use it, but mostly because it's too powerful. Whenever I've used Alchemy, I haven't been able to resist breaking the game with it.

I end up doing the merchant inventory glitch (where you buy and sell a particular ingredient at the same time to increase the merchant's stock) to obtain ingredients in bulk. The next step is then to create Fortify Intelligence potions (I think with Ash Yams and Bloat) and guzzle loads of them. That will boost your Intelligence, and since potion intensity/duration increase with Intelligence...

Ic3Bullet posted...
If you are going to be using magic, dont get the sign that increases your magic by 1.5x (or maybe its 2.0x, I cant remember). Get the one that increases it by 0.5x. The one that increases 1.5x (or 2.0x) doesnt replenish your magic meter by resting, and you have to use potions.

It's the Atronach sign and it's 2.0 I think. The 1.5 sign is The Apprentice which gives you major weaknesses to magic. The 0.5 sign is The Mage and has no negative effects.

The Atronach sign is a hassle, but not a huge one if you know what you're doing. A side effect of the sign is that it gives you a 50% chance of absorbing magic. This is obviously good against magic users, but it allows you to restore your Magicka almost at will. One tactic is to summon a magic user (an Ancestor Ghost usually), aggro it and let it hit you with magic. A better tactic is to create a Mark, use Divine Intervention, use a shrine until you absorb its blessing, and then Recall back to where you were.

I don't really care that much either way. CDPR have said that there will be plenty of opportunity to see your character anyway, if that's a concern: in dialogue/cutscenes, reflective surfaces, Photo Mode, etc.

As for the reasons why they've went with first-person, a good point I've seen is that perhaps the densely packed and vertical world will be too cramped for third-person. Imagine the camera issues when there are a bazillion NPCs, tall buildings and cramped spaces everywhere.

If it doesn't kill any semblance of open-endedness, then sure. As much as I love Fusion (and the SA-X), there's more or less a set route through the game (for the main upgrades and story triggers).

Really though, I think Super has the perfect amount of "horror" (and open-endedness). It's not in your face or anything, but it's there.

E.g. The Kraid corridor that Gavi mentioned with the music above, and the corpse just outside the door.

I don't really care that much either way. If anything, I prefer first-person when done right (and I believe CDPR will accomplish that) . There are limitations (same with third-person), but a skilled dev can make them more or less irrelevant. First-person is great when it comes to "muh immersion", which is especially important in a Cyberpunk RPG.

Gameplay-wise, I imagine melee combat isn't a massive focus, regardless of the perspective. It'll probably be a bit of a one-sided thing like in Deus Ex (i.e. something you do to enemies). For mostly everything else (gunplay, using gadgets, interacting with technology, even platforming), first-person is fine. The obvious exceptions are driving (which supposedly has a third-person option) and conversations (which will likely be in third-person, again, like Deus Ex).

As for seeing your character, I'm sure there will be opportunities to do that, like conversations. I get the feeling CDPR will take that into account and will have something up their sleeve. After all, style/fashion are pretty big in the Cyberpunk 2020 universe.

I honestly have to go for 4 (having played all but gen 5), even if HG/SS aren't included in that. It has a good combination of features (Physical/Special split, Abilities, Natures, online features, etc.), Pokemon/moves (with plenty of each to choose from) and post-game stuff (like the Battle Frontier).

The gens before lack too many features, Pokemon and moves for my liking, while very few other games have a good post-game (Emerald, HG/SS and probably B2/W2 from what I've heard are the exceptions).

I loved gens 1 and 2 back in the day and have many fond memories of them, but going back to them nowadays, they leave a lot to be desired. My only reasons for playing them now are the (good) glitches and relative open-endedness (mostly in gen 1).

Gen 1 is only really worth playing nowadays for the (good) glitches and (relative) open-endedness IMO. Everything else sucks. Gen 2 isn't really worth playing at all tbqh (while the remakes exist), except maybe Crystal. FR/LG and HG/SS are pretty good still. The former lacks the Physical/Special move split, which is annoying, while HG/SS inherit some of gen 2's problems (like the unbalanced level curve), but they're certainly more playable than the originals.

Emerald is great. Love the Battle Frontier. Shame it lacks the split like FR/LG.

I actually like gen 4. The UI is slow as fuck (it's faster in Pt), but the region is by far the largest and most varied of the first 4 gens, the AI isn't quite as terrible, there's at least some challenge (Cynthia) and the selection of Pokemon is not bad. Also, the Vs. Seeker hasn't been topped. The Underground is a cool distraction too.

Haven't played Gen 5.

6 is alright. The Pokemon selection is massive and a few of the new ones are good. The post-game sucks, however.

I do have a bit of a soft spot for 7. The region is great aside from the linearity, the trials are a little different/fresh, HMs are finally gone, there are nice quality of life features like being able to see how many evolutions a Pokemon you've caught has, etc. Again, the post-game isn't great.

Gens 6 and 7 block areas off too much for my liking. E.g. the power being out in the former and Tauros being in the way in the latter. Only gen 1 has really been somewhat open-ended to be fair (and not even that much), but 6 and 7 go even further the other way.

I wonder how many monsters I've killed in Diablo II over the years. Cow Runs and Uber Levelling alone must make up a large chunk. Uber Levelling was insane in terms of the number of monsters killed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UKDGpPxVig#t=0m16s). It was patched out due to the lag caused on the servers. Then you have Mephi, Baal, CS, etc.

There's also grinding in the game aside from killing monsters (although that certainly is the main method). There are Lower Kurast runs that involve clicking a bunch of Chests, dead bodies / skeletons and other shit on the ground for drops (mainly Runes and Charms). Then you also have shopping at vendors. If you leave the area (usually via a portal next to the vendor), their inventories get reset. You can do this for hours to get the desired item.

I've been doing a shit ton of the last two recently.
